    someone posted this on another forum. we all know jj hated the pt so how funny would that have been if jar jar did get nuked with the resistance hq?

    also its more plausible than the idiotic darth jar jar theory

    In all honesty I do to. Even though I think the PT sucked and have bashed them for many years they were fun films in their own right. They were nothing like I was hoping but I'll come out of the closet and say I never did mind him.

    Indeed. JarJar was not really good, but what made it so bad is that the rest of the characters surrounding him were boring as hell. The contrast was unsusteinable. When JarJar was doing something stupid, you had QuiGon telling him "relax" like a robot, or "don't touch anything" like a monk. Now just imagine JarJar with Finn and Rey. The interaction, if not great, would be much better.
