    And? It's just confirmation that John Williams isn't involved in the story process. Only because he thinks that Rey is somebody of importance, doesn't mean she actually is.

    Changing Rey Nobody into Rey Somebody would be a stupid move. What's the point? Just for having a shocking twist? No, that's not how great story telling works.

    In my eyes, Rey nobody would be unbarable blow to Star Wars and from the day one I pray to the Force it was a ruse, clevel scenario dramatisation.
    I am glad I am not alone,the greatest living composer wishes the same.

    It is possible of course that greatest the composer of our time has no right to know antyhing about the Film for which he is composing his epic music for 40 years (which delivers much of the Star Wars magic),but Williams is clearly curious and loves Star Wars,and I think he could know more than we.

    Williams is right (I think he knows more because he has to play certain themes in certain scenes which echo through the entire skywalker saga).
    Rey being nobody doesn't make sence. She is the daughter of Luke. That's why he tried to scare her away, he doesn't want her to be a jedi (to much suffering every skywalker had). If Rey is a Skywalker then she is the Anakin-part. Kylo is the Vader-part. The last dual will then become Vader VS Anakin in essence. That makes sence how the Skywalker saga should end.

    Interview from op is new,I posted in later post his old interview to..yes Williams didn't changed his belief that there is greatness behind Rey origins...just like in his musical work,work of a genius.

    I guess it depends on their process for the film. Usually the score is adapted after filming wraps, and we're definitely not there yet.

    I guess it's possible that JJ said something like, "Hey, I need you to make an adaptation on Rey's theme, but one that also incorporates Obi Wan somehow" or something like that, and Williams was tipped off. But I feel like, unless he was directed to state this, Williams would know to keep quiet about something like that.

    Schmi Skywalker was Anakin's mother.
    Slave but person,with name.

    Anakin got genes as well as family name from his poor but honorable mother,the powers he got from the other parent,Cosmic Force.

    I am sorry I failed you ,but am unable to agree, but I am ready to confess I am scared by rough power of collective movement of Rey randomers which treathens to destroy the essence of Star Wars.

    Yes, but there were thousands of Jedi in the prequel era with humble beginnings, just like Rey. Hell, even Luke grew up as a farm boy.

    Regarding "Rey Nobody":

    I think there are multiple interpretations of this. We can pretty well assume now that her parents aren't "Legacy parents". Probably not anyone we've seen before.

    But that doesn't mean that they can't have some importance going forward. Nor does it mean the "sold for drinking money" story is true. I think it's highly possible that we'll see them in some form in Episode IX.
