Kanan - best comic so far!

    Just finished reading the latest issue.

    Is it me or this comic is a total blast to read! I enjoy the "Star Wars/Vader" series realistic style quite a bit. However, I find the artwork in Kanan to have more personality, particularly in facial expressions, heroic poses, and stunningly detailed inking & coloring. Also the first person narrations and dialogues are spot on. There're layers of content there that're not immediately thrown in your face but discovered along the way. It's a great set up of "surviving" the republic and the Jedi order, learning to be self sufficient and carrying on the torch.

    I have been enjoying all the SW comics so far, but The Last Padawan seems the best. It has given more depth to the character and made Rebels more interesting. The series will end with the next issue, but I am hoping that they will release more series. Otherwise a Hera series could be interesting too.

    This is a great comic. Kanan and Darth Vader are jockeying for the best spot story wise but, I agree, Kanan's art is fantastic.

    Just finished reading the 5th issue and yeah, this is by far the best new canon book in every respect.
    This will stand tall along with some of the most memorable SW comics like "Tales Of The Jedi", "Knights Of The Old Republic" and "Legacy."
