    It is interesting that neither Finn nor Rey wield lightsabers, and Rey also does not have a staff. Does this signal that the staff & saber thought to be sentral to at least one of these two characters, (with people split on just who has the lightsaber), is a minor point in this movie? Possibly to become more important in later movies?

    well technically the sabre goes from Jakku Dwellers/MvS > Poe > BB8 > Leia gets it > Maz makes comments about who should have it. So it really is the "Mcguffin"

    If the spoilers/rumours are right we only really see it used in any meaningful way when Rey goes "bad-ass mode" and takes on kylo to save finn. I don't think even MSW is certain if she keeps it or Luke takes it back.

    It wouldn't be the first time we've seen projectile weapons used in the films.

    Still, using projectile weapons would seem to mean that this gang is pretty crappy, if they're using weapons comparable to tribal Tusken weapons. Guess we'll see. Maybe they just like the style.

    Aside from the flipping eyepatch as was mentioned, I can see the similarities... though it's incredibly difficult to look for details in a Lego figure. :p Is the 'pirates' picture we've seen reversed for some odd reason, did anyone ever look at that?

    I favor Rey wielding one more than Finn, I still think the lightsaber is stored in BB-8 a safe keeping place from Luke who used Artoo in TROTJ.

    Golan is rumored by MSW to be the name of Maz's castle. According to MSW the castle is on Yavin 4 but in the Golan district or something like that. However in the real world the Golan Heights is a highly volatile area in the Middle East and it would be strange to me for them to reuse the name.

    Lothal isn't a hugely debated and fought over territory. It just seems in poor taste in my opinion, especially with everything that is going on in Syria. I would think disney would try to steer clear of that but it IS a Star Warsish name so oh well.

    Very random speculation here, but:
    Unkar = (j)unker?, as in junker (car) gang?
    Phonetically, it also sounds like the Norwegian for "bachelor", but I doubt that's relevant ;)
    Also, in Finnish, "Unkari" means "Hungary", so perhaps the Unkars are Space Huns :p

    (Note, none of the above is to be taken serious).

    Of all the Lego name leaks, The Unkar Henchman is truly the most interesting in my eyes.

    Interesting the the figure pack with Ray has only one other Character named "Unkar Henchman"
    the word "henchman" sounds more evil then "gang member"

    what if these red helmeted guys are a Special Ops crew for Snoke ? maybe "The Unkar" is the new dark side religion or snokes species??????

    The Unkar does have a very evil sound to it

    anyways, I know i am reaching deep. but just wanted to put my speculation out there.
