    SPOILERS FOR THE LATEST EPISODE!!

Really nothing more than an idea that came to me a couple minutes ago, but is it possible for Ezra (and Kanan) to have KOTOR ties in Season 4? Since the new rebel base is on Dantooine; and given how things are probably going to go down in the season finale, I suspect our heroes will need a new hiding spot.

In KOTOR, Dantooine has a Jedi Enclave. This would be relatively easy to add back to into the canon, and could even serve as a gateway for Revan and all of that if they wanted.

Anyways, this was just a random thought today. But what do y'all think?

I could see them either mentioning it in passing as a nod to the KOTOR fans, or exploring it in detail, especially if they discover a holocron or just some old Jedi information.

Sounds more of a pick up of Leia's line in ANH, the same thing that KOTOR did when they went there.

Isn't the hammerhead ship from KOTOR? I think thats all we'll get considering season 4 might be the last and there are too many story threads to complete let alone introduce or allude to Reven...

Sadly, I didn't play too much of KOTOR, so I don't feel too entitled to speak on its behalf (I did watch a playthrough, but that was a while back, so I don't remember it well enough...)

On the idea, it's just that this would be a cool way to explore Dantooine while keeping the Jedi arcs tied to the rebellion arcs. Kinda like the Bendu this season (which really makes me wonder/worry about what they're going to do with him in the future...)

I would be totally cool with it going down something like this...
At some point, Ezra and Kanan are on Dantooine together and they somehow come across the an old broken down Jedi Enclave, (kind of like in KOTOR 2) and Kanan remarks in passing,

"This is the ruin of an old Jedi Temple I learned about in training, this is where a powerful fallen Jedi named Revan was redeemed and went on to save the Republic."

and then they go on there merry way. OR even better they actually go into the ruins or do some sort of flashback like they did with Tar Vizla in "Trials of the Darksaber". Either way, I'm satisfied.

Well, Ezra and Kanan do have a tendency to find Jedi/Force related locations on the worlds they travel to. The hidden temple on Lothal, the Bendu on Atollon, etc. Odds are good that if there's anything on Dantooine that has something to do with the Force, they'll find it.

I would definitely appreciate a callback to KotOR. It's still my favorite game of all time. Like all the other references to "Legends" material Rebels has done, I'd be delighted to see Revan mentioned.

I hope they refurbish the destroyed Jedi Enclave and make it their Rebel base. I wonder what made them move, though. The Empire couldn't have found or destroyed it, because if they did, Tarkin would not have been fooled "She lied to us!", when Leia gave him Dantooine instead of Yavin IV. Maybe some weird Force spirit stuff happens and they are forced to leave.

I'm still convince of my own crackpot theory that Tar Viszla is Revan lol

Chopper used a data "spike" to hack into Imperial security in the latest episode. Maybe I'm mistaken but the first use of data spikes (physical implements) was in KOTOR, and I'm not sure we've seen them in the new canon?

Going along with the theory that Kanan and Ezra might eventually chase Thrawn out to the unknown regions, it's possible that instead of chasing Thrawn, they're chasing an "unknown threat" referred to in the Thrawn book passage after finding some ancient allusion to it on Dantooine. Not unlike how Revan and Malek headed out to the edges of the universe after finding the map. The new canon is pretty good at echoing the old canon like that.

There have been hints of 'Knights of Old Republic' in 'Trails of the Dark Saber' and, possibly, 'Legacy of Mandalore.' During the training scene between Kanan and Sabine, at some point Kanan points out that the Jedi won the war with the Mandalorians using those wooden sticks. Another instance could be in season finale of the second season when he, Ezra and Ahsoka traveled to Malachor, which also happens to be the moment where Maul decided to show his face again. As much as I do not like Yoda, I have been starting to understand his reasoning.

We know the first KOTOR game takes place about four or five years after the Mandalore Wars ended, so I am hoping for more references as well. Correct me if I got some of these facts wrong, though. One of the things I do remember in 'Double Agent Droid' is seeing Chopper install an computer spike to find the location of the base on Atollon. Well, before Hera remotely blew up the destroyer. Even though the 'rust bucket' was hacked himself at the time, there could be a chance no one thought to change the standard computer spike after four thousand years.

    :D

The KOTOR stuff is all going to get reworked into canon in some way or another, but I would expect it will look quite different from the games.

This Jedi-Sith war of 1,000 years ago seems to have been a very defining moment in galactic history. Revan probably played a role.
