I think it's just before the image of Rey and Finn that (I think) Fallon showed last week when he interviewed Driver. They must be to his, right? My question about the lightsaber is this. We see Kylo dramatically ignite his saber a few times in the trailers, does this also happen during the film? I mean, I guess it could if there's new characters each time he does this but otherwise, it's not some major reveal to the audience after the first time. Even, trying to evoke that "Oh, blast" moment, won't keep working if it's been done a few times throughout.

That shot was in the very first teaser trailer ages ago, right? They could have easily edited out Rey and Finn to avoid giving away too much too soon. Scenes in trailers are often edited differently from the same scenes in the final product, so it's difficult to say beforehand how much of an indicator those shots are.

Maybe he just likes to whip it out and ignite it, feels cool. Like back in the day when the person with the Zippo would incessantly be popping it open and closed at random times, sometimes lighting it with their jeans for no reason.

I'd figure you're probably correct. It would be very easy too to edit what could be seen in the background, as we got more pieces that have shown Finn igniting his lightsaber to face him in about the same spot.

I did notice the lack of anyone though, and always thought it'd be cool if he was doing some weird form of intimidation by going around chopping down the trees and making a ruckus.
