    The quarterback gets the ball snapped to him every play... he is like the general. He can either throw it down field (to a receiver) or hand it off (to a running back), who will then run down field.

    You probably want to be the RB.
    Although you might enjoy the QB more, being the most important player on the field and center of attention. ;)
