    "My Shot"
    "Wait for it"
    "Alexander Hamilton"

    Top spot.

Well, yeah, there is that.... ^^

it's so incredibly good and versatile and surprising in every way,
Who would think that a muscial about a founding father would be one of the most innovative things I would ever hear in my life?

What can I say, I prefer dogfights and lightsaber battles.

Seriously listen to these, and then stream the whole soundtrack to Hamilton. It's amazing.

Lin-Manuel can change styles half-way through on a dime, and the whole show is a Tour De Force

Not sure if I like this. After listening to his stuff on youtube he just sounds like Atmosphere or whatever. I'm a huge rap fan too but this seems weird and out of place.

If there is rapping/DJing/EDM in The Force Awakens, that severely breaks the 4th wall as it is not sufficiently "alien," and I'd classify this as horrible news.

EDIT: This is not a comment on the talents of Miranda, of which he clearly has many. I just don't think it belongs.

Does he only Rap? I can't stop thinking about how cheesy this sounds. I was wondering when something from this movie would be cheesy and off putting to me.

A digitally remastered set of the original films in clear picture and sound would be awesome, but what does this have to do with rapping in Star Wars? Yeah, I'm just an old fuddy duddy if I don't want to see Yoda drop a sick beat, I guess....?

I don't like things that retcon, contradict, or plagiarize the original movies....which is a lot of what we've seen so far. I'd love to see new story direction and characters, none of which involves putting rappers in Star Wars....

I'm on a Star Wars message board, of course I'm going to watch it.

I'm just not going to pay for it. :D

Never expected or hoped it would be, I just hoped it would build off of and stay true to what the OT was. But according to you that apparently isn't possible because all originality and creativity died with the 70s, lol.

That's nice, but what's that got to do with Star Wars or anything I was saying?

Yeah, I must miss the days when people wore bell bottoms and probably poodle skirts according to you because I think hiring a rapper to do the soundtrack for Star Wars sounds like a really, really bad idea, LOL!

Maybe they can get Ke$ha for the sequel because womens n pop music in Star Wars n stuff. That was always a demographic they've been lax on in the past, and for goshsakes it's not the 70s anymore!

Just because the man raps does not mean there will be rapping in the movie. One of my good friends' dads, Jerry Hey, wrote and arranged Jedi Rocks. (Look him up, it's true. His son and I are old college buddies.) He's a very accomplished jazz, funk, and pop trumpet player. Now, I don't like Jedi Rocks, but professional musicians that are talented and accomplished have the capability of writing and playing a wide variety of styles. I don't know how many of you are musicians, but assuming he's a one dimensional artist capable of only one style, sounds silly and extremely uneducated.
