Lines I hope never to hear again...

By far the most brain cell damaging line in SW... from Phantom Menace:

"The breakdown of our communication can mean only one thing... INVASION"

Every time I see that face and hear the line I crack up!!! LoL

 

That line isn't so bad, and it's not a far fetch to asume invasion. The TF had a reputation of invading and occupying planets to get what they wanted, so that dude propably knew their M.O. The line that I hate comes from episode III:

"Anakin, you're breaking my heart".

UGH! Not only is it a horrible line, but the over deliverance of that line (compensating for under deliverance?) makes me cringe. I don't think people say something like that in such a serious and dark situation. It sounded like a bad soap opera line.

 

I have a bad feeling baout this has evolved into more than just an inside joke it's tradition. I'll feel a little cheated IF we don't get to hear it once in duriong each of the ST films.

 

Han Solo might say it after hearing out Ridley and Boyega when they approach him.

And seriously "I have a bad feeling about this" is tradition! It's in every single episode of the saga!

 

"This is my girlfriend, Beru." Nothing against the Lars' but I never liked how Star Wars used the word "girlfriend"-too contemporary earth. They should have used some space name for girlfriend. Or something more timeless and universal like sweetheart, etc.

 

I agree, I like "this is my space girlfriend beru" much better

Lol, what a cringe-inducing start to a terrible film. "They must be dead by now, retrieve their corpses" would have made the movie at least 3% better.

 

What was Nute Gunray's plan if the Jedi were dead? Was he just gonna have the droids shoot at their corpses until they vaporized?

Why didn't he just leave the door closed for like, 4 hours? And if they tried to cut through, just started shooting them in the face.

No no no this is all wrong, this is the quote:

The first two sentences within themselves are perfectly fine. It's the last two that really make this line awful.

 

This was by far the most cringe worthy of the non-"romantic" lines uttered, along with "This is such a drag" as R2 tows his detached head behind him. In the OT, Threepio could sometimes be annoying. In the PT, I wanted him to get blown up and never put back together.
