List of retcons done in ROS

I think the first thing is to establish what a retcon actually is?

To me none of these are recons. The Holdo maneuver was an explanation on why it wasn't used often. Rey's lenage was ambigious that both TFA nor TLJ really touched on. TLJ, said her paersnts are a nobody, and in ROS Kylo still said that they were nobody. That was the ST version of "from a certain point of view" which help make Obi-Wan not a total lier in the OT.

A true retcon would be ignoring Yoda's ability to interact with the environment, not re-enforcing the idea by having force ghost Luke lift up his X-Wing from under water
A true retcon would be saying that Rey parents were actually someone important. Apparently they weren't important enough for her grand father to care about his only son.
A true retcon would be ignoring the force skype, not expanding the idea that they can physically fight each other through the force connection.

It was never stated in both TFA and TLJ that Leia had training or not. What they showed us in Episode 9 confirmed what everyone assumed.

 

"They were drunkards who sold you for drinking money, lying in a pauper's grave." It's a retcon and a lie. Arguably, Kylo would have earned more sympathy if he just said "I was wrong, but I know more now."
Does that mean it's a BAD retcon? Depends on the person. But it's still a retcon.

Half truths are still lies. Luke even calls Obi-Wan out on that "A certain point of view" stuff.

 

Not a Retcon. That is a dark side user trying to use partial truth to manipulate someone. Like Emperor did previously.

Rey said they were no one, and as far as she knew they were no bodies.

 

'Retcon' is a shortened form of retroactive continuity, a piece of new information that imposes a different interpretation on previously described events, typically used to facilitate a dramatic plot shift or account for an inconsistency.

 

Personally for me it would have been great if at the end of the opening crawl
