    I haven't kept up with the comics, but doesn't Luke duel Vader a few times and fight boba fett a bunch too? Seems like a bad decision.

    ...nor is that anything different from one the old EU had done, either. Splinter of the Mind's Eye, off the top of my head, was one such event. There were a number of comics where Luke/Vader, Vader/Fett, Luke/Fett clashes occurred as well.
