    They did. It had 150 pages and had to be taken down due to Jason coming on and bashing people and also due to our good fellow cantina friends commiting character assassination towards him. It was super messy in the end and even though it was taken down the debate spills into other threads.

    @It's a Trap , it's hard not to take something personally when being called "ignorant" and "lazy" in the same post. I don't want to continue this, just pointing out what caused my reaction.

    Edit: yes, I was there for both of those threads (they tried to make a "part 2" but it ended the same way). Suffice to say that anything MSW-related is a pretty touchy subject around here.

    And I apologize for saying you were being condescending. I try to only use dislikes when something is either waaaay off-base or when someone goes out of line; people tend to confuse them with disagrees, which I use more often but usually try to follow them up with an explanation. In the case of earlier in the thread, I got distracted by the Rebels Season 2 Premiere Party and someone apparently didn't like that.

    Disagrees are great! People get touchy with dislikes and I love fostering debates so I feel like simply listing a dislike defeated the purpose. I just don't like when people abuse the system and never answer for it.

    There should be a Luke Skywalker support group or website created discussing the 5 stages of grief. (dark)

    But really, for Mark Hamill fans there will always be Episode VIII or potentially IX where he could have a bigger role.

    For Luke Skywalker fans, there will be future books and comics and tv shows and video games and anthology movies that take place post-ROTJ and before TFA. Luke could turn up in one of those before he "disappears". You might have to wait a good long while on some of those though.

    Hamill himself has said that it was once discussed with Lucas that Luke would be introduced via a cameo for the ST to meet with the next new hope and pass on the lightsaber ("Excalibur"). He brought that up again at Celebration 2015.

    Guys, you're open to discuss everything from MSW in the threads with the appropriate topic. We had bad experience with separate threads dedicated to this subject.
    Whether you like it or not, as @Darkstar also said, Jason is right on most of the things he decoded. Still the whole tone of the movie could feel very differently based on the things we still don't know. So, don't panic. The movie will be awesome. We have all the ingredients for that. ;)
