    Hopefully you've been all over this too? Given that Zimmer pulled the whole thing together in just a few weeks after the previously attached composer bailed on the project, it's great - with some nostalgic callbacks to Vangelis' superlative original work

    Oh this is BEAUTIFUL! Nothing can compare to the Blade Runner OST (freaking masterpiece, Vangelis won't have any competition for as long as he's alive...and possibly 300 years after he's gone), but Hans Zimmer pays great homage to his work without giving up his (also amazing) style. I haven't seen the movie yet and I was wondering who's in charge of the soundtrack, and this is amazing!

    Amen to that!

    I've been pleasantly surprised by the 2049 score - it plays on the best themes of the original (Tears in Rain for example) without being slavish or a rehash.

    As I said, all the more remarkable for being put together in 6/7wks prior to the films release.

    I had to google that artist, didn't know that Lando made music. Dang, that guy has all kinds of talent.

    Being honest, I saw the artist name and thought that I was going to hate it. I clicked on it and thought it was decent, I really dig the sound, so I looked him up and that is how I found out that it was Donald Glover.
