    I'am curious what will be leaked up to 18th dec. and what will be right and wrong then.
    As for myself I hope there will be some surprises left for us in the theater.
    I'am really torn, I want to be spoiled but surprised too.

    @TheGreatDarkOne, first and foremost—welcome to the Cantina! Thanks a lot for sharing, I'm currently at a boring party where the best source of entertainment seems to be your thread. I'm looking forward to see how it'll evolve in the upcoming days.

    Here's what I have to say (do keep in mind that I've had a few beers—that was my best source of entertainment prior to finding this thread).

    I thoroughly enjoy what you have written. Most notably, I think MvS would work great as an older Kanan. One question though, what do you have to say about Making Star Wars' claims? That is, Han getting killed/Luke having only one scene/act I description. Do they relate to what you know or have heard?

    Do you feel that you are betraying your coworkers on the movie? Why are you letting this information out when it would be in your group's best interest to keep a united front? I just generally wonder about any Star Wars fan that would read the EU then turn around and sell out the cast and crew. Nothing personal, I have not seen this question asked anywhere in The Cantina so far.

    Who appears on the Millenium Falcon throughout the film?

    Do Han, Leia, and Luke have a scene together?

    Does Chewbacca or BB-8 speak Galatic Basic?

    What makes Chewbacca flee from the confrontation that kills Han Solo?

    Any Ewoks in the movie?

    Is the "evil castle" on the same planet that we see Kylo Ren walking through the forest?

    Is the Simon Pegg character a "bad guy" or just foolhardy?

    Great lead in to TFA and thanks for sharing! I really dig the synopsis that you provided, it is more in tune with what a lot fans have expressed wanting to see.


    I have three questions:

    1)Why risk your job and share here in The Cantina?

    2) Why have other site(s) been so far off with their reports? (probably impossible for you to answer, which ties into the next question)

    3) Is there a disinformation campaign or have a lot of rumors come from Arndt's script and leaked concept art from that? (I guess that is 3 questions in one).

    I agree with others, you're claims seem to be the most plausible at present time, so thanks for the info.

    My ?s:

    1. Is Domhnal's character related to any other OT character?

    2. If Driver's face is barley seen then why hire him in the first place? He has a unique look and is a capable actor, so it seems odd to hide him under a mask for most of the movie. Was it mainly for height, body language, and athletic ability? It wasn't necessary for Vader...

    3. Does Lupita play more than one character?

    4. I thought it would be cool if there was a three way lightsaber fight ie three sides each with individual motivation (think Pirates of the Carribean 2). Is there one of those?

    And here is random thought I had. So, if Jedi can train themselves to become force ghosts upon death, could the Sith acheive something simular, perhaps adding their force energy into a single conglomerate entity that would eventually "awaken" in a host individual. I thought of this thinking about the Inquisitor's death scene and his implication that something worse was coming...

If you really worked on the movie and were present at Skellig and Pinewood, and you don't have problems sharing it with us, then you won't have troubles proving your credibility. You surely should have some kind of proof being on those sets. I will start a personal conversation with you to see your proof. Don't worry, your secret is safe with me.
    I still don't understand how you weaved all that info only from glimpsing parts of the script. You should have been someone really important on set.
    BTW I still stand behind my words - No major characters will be cyborgs. I was telling you guys this, together with the BS evil Luke thing for years now. ;)

    Possibly. Although Kanan Jarrus wasn't a part of the OT. However, I noticed that the new run of Marvel Star Wars comics (which are fantastic btw) are: Star Wars, Darth Vader, Princess Leia, and starting in April Kanan the Last Padawan. That's some serious company to put him in. Maybe Kanan WILL be making an appearance in TFA. It's already been announced that there's a lot of connective tissue that'll be released right before next December...

    What are the chances TFA, one of the most important financial investments of thelast 20 years for the Walt Disney company, will tie the entire back story of the new Jedi Order and setup for the new plot, to a character only known by 8 year olds and die hards? I find it difficult to believe Kanan will have any role in TFA outside of maybe a passing mention (ala Quinlan Vos in RotS).

    Could happen, but I doubt it. Sounds nice from a continuity standpoint for those following along with all the new canon, but it doesn't make sense for the majority of the audience. Some of the other stuff sounds plausible. but if the Kanan stuff is in doubt, then I have to assume the whole thing sounds fishy.

    I agree, but its not the first time a comic character made it into the movie, we got Boba Fett and General Grievious. But on the other hand Rebels may have a bigger impact for the fanbase then the whole EU stuff, but still we get spoilers that sound like a rehash of the EU stories. I guess its more likely to get kanan, then Jacen/Jaina, sun-crusher and exar kun ( or others that depend on him like revan).

    Just some questions:
    What type of Weapon has Chewie this time, are there more action sequences for him? What about that black x wing? how do those superwaepons look like?
    Where is Poe all the time?

    I'm not so much questioning that Kanan could somehow become a charchter in the films. Just the idea of using him as Luke's equal and partner in the backstory that generates the plot of the ST. Most will not know or care who kanan is in TFa. So IF he was to become an integral character the heavy lifting and development would need to happen on screen as it does with Fett and Grevious.

    We don't see Fett showing up in EsB and suddenly referring back to years spent with Han building a smuggling ring or that weekend on Naboo with leia back when they were in college. The character existed prior to ESB. But nothing he does in EsB is dependent on any of his past non-theatrical activities.

    Look. Official news comes slow these days and we all want some fresh confirmation of material. I call bantha poodoo on TheGreatDarkOne. Quite simply, his/her speculation just doesn't jive with the dark and light sides of the force awakening. And a great many other things don't make sense.

    A) A Sith lord cybernetically rebuilds Kylo. Heard this story before.
    B) Finn's parents murdered by the Empire. Heard this story before.
    C) The Empire murdered Kylo's family. Heard this story before.
    D) Kanan's story arc is being told in Rebels. Nuf said.
    E) Kanan went into hiding once, which he regretted doing, and now he's redeeming himself in Rebels. It make 0 sense for him to go into hiding yet again.
    F) Luke's apprentice (Kylo) was volatile and angry at the Empire and entire galaxy. Then why would Luke take him in as his apprentice? Besides....this sounds too much like the Ezra/Kanan relationship in Rebels. Heard this story before.
    G) Last but not least....does anyone really think that a power hungry Sith lord would not finish off the two most powerful Jedi? Come on. Seriously, come on.
