    I think it could be. I don't know if it is obviously, I'm just saying that pointing out that RJ debunked a theory or guess about future stuff doesn't hold much water with me. We have no expectation for them to tell the truth about that sort of thing. They're not just going to put out major spoilers like that in an interview because someone asked them a question.

    What if...
    Ezra is wounded too, but he managed to wipe out Reys memory and gives her in the hand of a supposedly trustworthy friend (who will eventually drop her on Jakku at the first sign of danger (DJ)), and sacrifices himself to allow DJ + Rey to flee off

    I don’t know, Rey seems to specifically looking out for her parents or some other really close family members in TFA. If DJ is just a friend, then it would take him and Rey a while to build some sort of family-like relationship. But if becuase of the timing, DJ would have to drop her off on Jakku almost immediately after that battle on Mandalore. However, if DJ was a friend that Rey and her parents considers as family, it could work. But when she is screaming “NO! COME BACK!” I’m not so sure. I always thought that she was referring to her parents but, who knows, you never know what happens in Star Wars. ;)

    Its a fun story and a good read.

    but the reason for Ezra to leave Rey on Jakku with Unkar Plutt is very weak as desperate as things are in your tale they arnt desperate enough to abandon his daughter like that and not go back for her.

    but i'd love for DJ to turn out to be Ezra and for him to be Rey father, it would be a interesting twist, but i cant see it happening i dont think we are getting Ezra on the big screen any time soon.

    But what you suggested about Ezra going to live on Mandalore might happen, i cant see Disney killing Kanan and Ezra.

    I think that's inevitable. Hera clearly stays with the Rebellion, and I can't see her willingly being parted from Kanan. And since Kanan isn't there on Yavin when Luke shows up...
