New Leaked Footage from Set of Jakku

I'll be very surprised if a trailer isn't dropped on Force Friday.
After that, it'll probably just be TV spots.

 

Especially with that "blaster fire." When they mentioned using stuff to give blasters real impact on set, they weren't kidding. IF this is the case for all action shots with blasters, it's safe to say they'll be rerecording a lot of dialogue.

Clearly, the date is wrong. Principal photography didn't start until 16 May 2014 (in Abu Dhabi)... but yeah, 15 months is still quite some time.
Only a bit more than that leaked shot from the imperial set.

 

Anyone figure out what Daisy's second line is, I still can't figure it out. "Let go of me." "We gotta move." "I know how to...."

 

If that date is accurate 1-15-14 does that mean they were actually filming before they announced it? I thought they started filming in like May 2014?

 

Just to throw this question out there: This video which really doesn't show us anything that we haven't already seen in magazines photos was quickly taken off of You tube by Disney, Right? But there is an entire webpage that supposedly "spoils" the entire plot of TFA, and it's still up? Really?

 

i've wondered about that too. and msw is even linked on the star wars website.

 

Free speech vs ill gotten footage from a closed set. And Disney asks these sites to take down things like the Luke Skywalker pic too.

 

I think there's going to be a lot of people who "think" they know what's going to happen in this film only to discover: "THEY DON'T KNOW POO DOO!"

I couldn't make it out at all. But yours is a better suggestion, imo. "I know how to combat..." is very formal and/or clunky. Take your pick. Not something that would sound natural coming from someone's mouth as she's running for her life.

Granted, they're running and not walking. So... I don't know what sense that makes.

 

its so difficult with the sound quality even if i modify the play speed i need a plugin to amplify voice frequency and cancel the rest. only way would be to use a spectral cleaning tool to manually modofy the unwanted frequency range sound and then you could find a better sound.

 

I don't know much about MSW, never go there, but i know a lot of star wars news site will pull requested stuff (even if they don't have to) in fear of losing peeks so press passes to places like cons or toy fair, maybe free stuff for review, etc. I was asked to remove the POP figures and i didn't, 3-4 of the other SW even messaged me say if i don't, POP and/or Lucasfilms will blacklist me. But i don't like others saying what i can post and cant, unless its a legal issue. So i didn't take them down. If you start doing that, you will start giving good reviews on bad stuff in order to keep perks. I am not saying this is the case with MSW. It is odd that they also pulled there Lego video, and as for now its on my youtube and no request has been made with over 17,000 views and news site linked to it. So not sure why MSW pulled that. Now with stuff like the leaked Luke pic posted on SW7N, i believe they pulled it due to legal issues. thats a different story but most will pull at just a single request.

 

That's why I don't buy into the TFA leaked plot. Why bother taking down some "smaller" items like photos or toy images and leave the entire plot of your film?

 

The rationale I've heard is that images can be considered property, or copyrighted, or something. They are the actual products that are being disseminated in a way that the property owner disapproves of. But descriptions of it are a matter of speech. I can buy a new album and describe it to you here, but I can't post tracks.

 

OK I'll buy that but "how" could you buy the album "before" it's released? You had to have gotten it from somebody. Couldn't the artists track the person or persons responsible and legally stop them from selling the album months before it's release? And also prevent you from describing the albums' contents? Seems to me, if the TFA plot was legit, then Disney would do everything possible to get this taken off the internet; and they haven't. Why?

Yeah, the people could stop you from selling the album. But if, for whatever reason, they gave you an album and you described it... that's more what's happening here. It's a super grey area and I'm not claiming it makes total sense to me. It almost seems as if SW7N, or MSW are innocent third parties. The perpetrators of some kind of property theft or breach of a NDA are the ones who gave material to them. But once seen, things cannot be unseen. I guess that's enough to protect everyone.

Editing to add that website such as this one or MSW are not under an NDA, so they're not violating any sort of agreement. They're also not the ones who took the property, so they're not guilty of that either. So... there's that, too.

That would be a great line, actually. That sounds like Star Wars humor to me.

 

Well, I think the reason TFA plot is still up is because it's NOT the actual TFA plot, nor is it close to it, and that's why nothing has been done about it. I think if it was real, Disney would do something...anything to get it down. Like I said why bother with photos leaks and this little video when your whole movie is out on the internet!
