    Hello Cantina forum ... uhmmmm .... peeps :)

    IT Geek from Florida(So right now I'm split between geek stuff and college football(GO GATORS). I would say that Star Wars is my favorite overall(since it is much, much more than a movie trilogy). But the Matrix is my favorite trilgy(I know - you're shocked, right?)
    I'm a full-blown geek(except not much of a gamer). Along with SW, I love all the Marvel stuff, more so for DC(I love BvS, but think SS was a letdown. Think WW is going to be awesome), LOTR(like Hobbit, but not the added fluff), Star Trek(thought Beyond was really good). And I am sitting on pins and needles hoping they will finally get a Buck Rogers movie off the ground.

    As far as SW goes, I guess I am something of a late bloomer. Before TFA, I had only seen the movies(many many .... times). But the trailers for TFA got me real excited. I have been reading SW books steadily since summer 2015. Right now, I am on Aftermath part 2. Oh, and I DO like the prequels. Before TFA, I would have said I love them, but JJs use of A. good acting, and B. practical effects has made me understand some of the backlash.

    FAVORITE MOVIE: I have to say The Force Awakens.(all except the "This is the Death Star ... THIS IS STARKILLER BASE" part)
    FAVORITE CHARACTER: Have to say a tie between Rey, Finn, and Poe. Love the actors they cast and love how those characters have been written and portrayed. Plus: bonus for JJs direction.
    FAVORITE BOOK: Tie:Aftermath & A Jedi's Weapon (Dark Disciple is great too)

    Oh, and I'm a music lover to the hundredth power. So you'll see me on the score threads a lot.

    Hi there and very welcome to The Cantina.This forum is FULL of GREAT and NICE people.We talk about SW BUT here we talk about EVERYTHING as you can see.If you like music the music from the 80's is my favorite.If you like DEVO MAYBE you know who are Kraftwerk.This people was VERY ahead with their own style of music.Some call them the pioneer of electronic dance music.This is one of my favorite from them.
