    True. She could be Luke's as much as anyone. What's interesting is Luke is as you pointed out in solitude. Rey is in solitude. Two people who could understand each other and have connection that no one else does.

    The general audience for that interview has no idea what the deal with Luke is in this movie. Only people following spoilers know (or think they know). "A big clue" should be immediately evident without having the script or production documents relayed to people. It's not a big clue if it registers with only 0.2% of the audience.

    I think it's easy to forget we are in this little bubble where the rest of the human race doesn't dwell.

    How this has not come up (as far as I know) is amazing. Good find.

    This is very close to the feel I get from Kylo Ren being similar to Exar Khun. A Jedi who sought relics discovered a Sith spirit who taught him some things and then Khun went on to wage war against the jedi.

    From the same Legends era stuff you find the One Sith which sounds very much like the 1st Order.

    After reading more about Ania and the other characters in her story I have to say that the amount of similarities is incredible, it seems to me it's rather obvious that JJ and Kasdan borrowed a lot of elements from this story. I'm going to definitely keep reading into this, thanks for sharing.

    When I first heard Daisy saying that her character is solitary, I first thought of Obi Wan, not Solo. But this is just me.
    And yesterday I was re-watching ROTS and it was funny to hear Yoda saying to Obi Wan, that he must go in "solitude" on Tatooine. :)

    Don't read too much into this. This was just my initial reaction.

    for some reason my initial reaction was not solitary = solo, but that she meant solitary like luke was on tatooine (luke was solitary because there was no one like him around on tatooine and all his friends kept leaving) and the "hint" she is giving is that she is a solitary skywalker because her mother is leia. ;)
