That was litteraly the first question, if someone put effort in something credit is due, but if someone just rips another vid it is another thing, that is why I was asking, so we could tell the difference, because the rules are there and many misused them to pump up their numbers.
It is irrelevant who uses it for the blog, even I did it when I had nothing better atm when the vid article needed to go out asap, but the first thing I do after that is looking for a source to give them credit, even if it is some bad vertical smartphone vid on twitter. Because those people deserve some attention as well.

I love it how Youtube keeps bombarding me with hate/negative videos about Solo: A Star Wars story just because I watched this featurette:

Just because I watched the above featurette my recommendation feed is bombarded with videos like this one:

Youtube's algorithm is a farce. I continuously wants me to see negative videos about Star Wars by default. No wonder all those employees are leaving Google and Facebook. The other day I watched a video made by the University of Copenhagen about Hitler's doctrine of violence and the meta-narrative of German romanticism. What do I get in my feed? Videos by Neo-Nazis about "how right Hitler was" and how there is "nothing wrong with being a fascist".

    OH MY GOD.

i've trained mine pretty well by not watching the garbage videos, liking the things i actually like, and giving the thumbs down to things i don't like if i found i've accidentally clicked on them.

it's not perfect, but right now YouTube is showing me Solo trailers and reaction videos, Kylo Ren fan vids, and stuff about fountain pens because i was shopping for reviews ~ hahahahaha.

A lot of new ones, each with a little bit of new footage.

I've stopped watching any new spots for now. I feel like every day they're releasing clips of a new scene and it's like STOP, I'm gonna see the movie, I don't need to see every single shot beforehand. This is way worse in the giving-away-everything department than any other new SW film, in my opinion.

Of course the movie could prove me wrong, but even in the little snippets I've seen on social media, even if I don't click on it to see it--lots of moments I would have rather experienced in the theater.

I dunno...from what I know about the film, what we've mainly seen is from the first act. Very, very, very little has been shown from the second and third act as compared to Force Awakens and Last Jedi. The only things shown in the trailers from the second act are
Han and Co. seek out Dryden Vos at his lair, and somehow a more polished Qi'ra is there too.
The only things shown in the trailers from the the third act are that
    Han confronts Enfys.
That's...it. Pretty small. Everything else we've seen is first act stuff, and mostly stuff that can be easily guessed at without seeing any trailers at all: Han is from Corellia, Han knew Qi'ra when they were young, Han wants to be a pilot, Han thinks he's a good pilot, Han joins the empire, Han meets Beckett and his crew, Han meets Lando, Han gambles for the Falcon (does he win this time? or a later time? who knows!). The only things shown in the trailers from the first act that couldn't otherwise have been guessed at without seeing them/knowing the tracklisting for the score is that
the conveyex robbery happens early, and Enfys shows up to try and stop it/take the loot.

We still know so little about what actually happens in this film. And that's wonderful.

It's like a 2 maybe 4 minutes of total footage (I'm probably low balling it) and the footage we have seen have been extended clips from the trailers. Spoiler: Han, Lando and Chewie live.

Yep, the Lando/Han verbal exchanges are classic.

I've never understood it when people use the number of minutes of footage to argue that we haven't seen too much. Because even if you got only one minute of footage, it could still be too much if we see a few seconds from every part of the movie. I'm just saying, there are a lot of moments I would rather experience during the movie that they've released online. The sabbac game, the holochess, etc.

But the stuff we've seen are not spoilers, cause we know Solo wins the game anyway. One minute? Sure, if you show the last minute of the film, but come on. You know you can't tell what a movie is based on one minute.

This actually helps me pinpoint exactly why I feel the way I do.

You see, this is the first SW film in awhile where I really don't care about being spoiled. We know that Han, Chewie and Lando live. We're not going to get any earth-shattering developments from them, or from the world around them, because that stuff happens in the Saga films. There's nothing to spoil.

The reason I want to see this film, then, is for the experience. It's not a spoiler that Han wins the Falcon in a Sabbac game, but I can look forward to experiencing it. Of course, at some point, Han and Chewie co-piloted for the first time, but I can look forward to experiencing it.

But if they give me all these moments beforehand, in TV spots or social media clips or what have you, then I feel like I've lost something. If I'm going to this film to experience the landmark moments in Han's history, then I don't want to see them before I'm in the theater.
