Opening Crawl Speculation

    I like to speculate on the opening crawl of a new Star Wars movie.

    I would wager that Luke Skywalker is once again mentioned. I can see the crawl containing something like, "Inspired by the legend of Luke Skywalker, thousands of brave men and women have joined the New Rebellion." I think this movie needs to show us the impact of Luke Skywalker's sacrificial act.

    What other kinds of things could we expect in the opening crawl?

    I would expect there to be comments about Kylo Ren and the growing might of the First Order. The KOR may also be mentioned if JJ is bringing them back. There will be mention of the Resistance rebuilding. Leia will likely be mentioned in some way.

    Yup, I also bet that Luke's action at the end of TLJ will be mentioned in the first paragraph. Besides that, I guess there will be some info about the status of the war and I'm sure Knights of Ren will be mentioned. As usual, the last paragraph will be an introduction to the first scene.
