When Anakin was driving his speeder was more similar to the binary sun technique imo than this scene.
There is a fast cut after this shot to Padme and Anakin when they start to talk again. That scene should've used no dialogues at all imo. Having Padmé to go and hug Anakin without a word would've been a bit more similar to the visual storytelling of ANH. The shadow shot was pretty un-star wars like imo, but it fit the tone, and it was at least more creative than just the usual shot-reverse shot.

Oops meant to post those ones, well still the same, but like a mirror things are reversed, well I'm learning what you apparently see in these films, what do you think of this. Note I think Empire and Clones are similar!

Oh by the way I hear George Lucas is a Silent Film guy.

Again, not really doing anything to fuel the narrative.
In A New Hope, Luke looking off in the distance is showing how he longs to leave Tatooine, go on adventures, to live a life beyond that of a simple farm boy. "All his life has he looked away, to the horizon, to the future..."
In Attack of the Clones, this was just Anakin about to go off to find his mother. The suns had nothing to do with it.
In Revenge of the Sith, it was pretty much just fan service.
A real comparison that would be actually accurate to intent and use in the narrative, we have to look at something different: 2009's Star Trek:
    upload_2016-6-12_17-35-2.jpeg
Here, we have Kirk looking at the Enterprise under construction. This is again our hero thinking about the future and about being more than they are at that moment.
A scene just looking the same doesn't equal it being the same.
Yeah, because protagonists rarely lose mentor figures in front of them.

Another thing I didn't want to go on the ring theory site, but I found this on the guy's twitter, we owe a lot to Flash Gordon, or George does.

Well looks like ETMAN was right Star Wars might obviously be a Rip Off, go figure.

I see your point of view and I give you mine, Anakin=Dark side, Luke=Light side, there was no fanservice unlike the new movie. Anakin is clearly similar but opposite of Luke, they both are attached, but they are both taught not to be to attached. As Yoda said Attachment leads to jealousy the shadow of greed that is, tell me what fanservice film would say such wisdom?

I will move on to the differences, like Padme and Leia.

I'm sorry I wasn't impressed with the film to be honest, I was one of those guy's that said Star Wars ended with RTOJ. Edit: I kind of felt disappointed, oh well moving on.

How do you constantly take the completely wrong idea out of things other people say? My statement wasn't about The Force Awakens, it's how you incorrectly said that there is no fanservice in the prequels.

Well say something then, what kind of fanservice we talking about? So that I don't get the wrong idea. Edit: those scores we were talking about, ETMAN came around and decided to see if they were true or not.

There was bad fanservice, such as shoehorning in OT characters in to prominent cameos (3PO, Chewie), and then was good fanservice, such as subtle cameos of people in the background (Anthony Daniels out of the 3PO costume in Episode II and III, Jeremy "Boba Fett" Bulloch and Lucas himself in Episode III among others). Then there was okay fanservice, such as the line, "Why do I get the feeling you'll be the death of me?"
And that's not even counting all the little things that the art department and ILM added into the films.

That makes no sense, didn't he build C3PO, besides they serve a purpose in George's films, well most of them anyway. You know If there's something that's similar, it's the dialogue in these movies, I never noticed at the time that it was the music, George was focused on.

3PO didn't add a single thing to the prequels. He accomplished nothing and the whole "He's there to witness the entire saga" statement falls apart with the whole memory wipe business. You can cut him from the trilogy and nothing would be lost. Chewie being at the Battle of Kashyyyk is fine, except the fact that way too much attention was brought to him. It's not the fact that he doesn't mention Yoda in the OT that bothers me (honestly, there's no reason for him to even if we could understand him), it's more of the fact that he's being shoved in our faces instead of being a cute, off to the side cameo.
The dialogue, especially in Empire and Jedi, is different than the PT's.
Even the music isn't the same. John Williams has written scores differently over the years. Even how he wrote scores in 1977 is different from 80/83, which is different from 1999-2005, and is different from how he writes presently. He's constantly evolved over the years. All seven scores have been fantastic, though.

Wait, wait! I'm considered a Millennial and there is no way I would say the PT is better than the OT.

Wait a minute... Does that mean something? (LOL).

Can we really add the "Facepalm" rating icon, please?

Actually, there we discovered it might have served a reason: Anakin built Threepio and programmed it to block any potential suitor for any future daughter he might have lol. (exhibit: Han Solo lol).

Same here. I watch every episode of Game of Thrones with the hopes of getting this "Valar Morghulis" attitude, but with Han Solo it does not work. :(
