As a passionate fan and reader of all Star Wars material that came in to my hand I stump upon strange find.

By near concidental paralel reading of Canon Novel :"Tarkin " by James Luceno and newer book Aftermath: Life Debt, by Chuck Wedding, and both book been a foundation of new Canon I found this strange information.

After klilling Darth Plagueis the Wise, Palpatine inherited Plagueis droid. 11-4D. This droid hold important data from Plagueis travels, and his experiments as well as his quests.

In the book Aftermath: Life debt, Imperial shuttle lands on the dusty Plaintive Hand plateau of the planet Jakku. A ancient holy site of the Consecrated Ermite . There under the order of Palpatine, a half dozen droids are marking a large area that will soon be excavated. A n archaeological dig of great importance. The droids immediately begin the work..........nice droid team.In the meantime we learned( nove Empire's end) there was a ancient Computer chamber that hold clues about uncharted parts of galaxy, burried for millenia, as well as some Sith artifacts.

Now look what I found in the novel Tarkin:
In that book it is canonized existance of secret Sith Temple beneath Jedi temple on Coruscant. That Sith temple was abandoned and sealed for 5000 years. This secret shrine helped Palpatine not to be detected by Jedi so long.

Now read this: The room’s excavation and restoration had been carried out by order of Palpatine by the droids who were under the supervision of 11-4D.

Is this one same "Palpatine's droid team, specialized for excavation of ancient Sith Artifacts, one that is led by former Plagueis 11-4D droid both on Coruscant, and on the Jakku?

So in fact, Palpatine used Plagueis knowledge stored in 11-4D to find ancient excavation site on Jakku and that ancient Computer base that leads to unknown regions?

That is very interesting and I would love it if it were in fact the very same droid and it made the events of the Darth Plagueis novel canon.

I really wish 11-4D had a little mention in Aftermath, especially when reading about the excavation droids. I would like to think he would've been around and coordinating this effort on behalf of Palpatine.
