Playing the "What If" game in Star Wars

I want a Kenobi movie featuring a mad Mace Windu as the villain. Now that would be epic!

What if Bail had adopted Luke, and Leia had been sent to Lars' homestead ?

 

Biggs Donkbringer probably gets different name.

 

It bugs me too. I honestly think Mace would of defeated the Emperor had Anikan not "screw" things up.

 

What if lightsabers were designed by Microsoft ?
- they would ask "Are you sure ?" when igniting,
- they would ask "Are you sure ?" when shutting up,
- the blade color would randomly change, without any explication
- they sometimes would not light on. In order to fix that, one should have a trick like pressing the button while pulling on the strap and simultaneously inserting the major finger in the blade hole,
- MacIntosh would design powerful and fully reliable lightsabers, but these could be used by only 5% of the Jedi

 

MacIntosh would charge you 1000 credits for the hilt and 500 credits for the standard red, blue or green crystal. Any additional colors would be 100 credits extra

 

Somehow I missed this last month, but I think there's no way he gives up.

In fact, I see him going on an absolute rampage throughout the galaxy looking for Luke, perhaps even trying to draw him out. Might be worse than Starkiller Base itself.

I doubt Anakin gets trained by the Jedi, but Palpatine already started to have some designs on him at that point. Perhaps he'd be raised as a secret apprentice.

As for the Clone Wars, I'd imagine they'd still happen, albeit much differently.
Remember, in TCW, Maul mentions something about wondering if the "war" had started yet, so I assume that he'd been pretty privy to the idea that Sidious was starting the Clone Wars soon even before the blockade on Naboo.

In that case, I'm not sure what part Anakin would have to play, but I'd imagine if Palpatine did sense him as a more worthy apprentice than Maul, he'd send him out to assassinate the zabrak in the chaos of war at some point.

 

What if Neil Breen and Tommy Wiseau co-directed a new Star Wars trilogy?!

 

Hey, they might not be too bad at emulating that classic Lucas dialogue.

 

What if Anakin would have liked sand?

 

Then Darth Vader would have lived in a giant sand castle by the beach.

 

What if Darth Vader had found the plans aboard the Tantive IV ?

 

Alderaan would not have been destroyed.

Edit: Where's my head at... no it still would be, because they've still captured and Leia and can still use her and the threat of destroying Alderaan to try and give them the location of the rebel base.

 

And Ponda Baba would have kept his arm.

But Luke is the son of Anakin and we know from the story up to that point that Obi-Wan is watching over him, waiting for a time to introduce Luke to the Force and the ways of the Jedi. So... something may have still happened, even if it was a little later.
