    I cannot believe you left Wedge off the list. The absurdity of that beggers belief.

    Wedge is the best of the no force users. He did most of the heavy lifting in tbe originally trilogy. He performed better than Luke at Hoth.

    Poe comes off as parady of Wedge to me. Wedge just did stuff, Poe needs to have all the characters tell us he is the greatest pilot.

    I would rank Han and Hera as better than Poe.

    Vader due to his force abilities is probably the best.

    Anyone who manages to win the Boonta Eve Classic after starting out at last place . . . at the age of nine; land Grievious' heavily damaged ship, which was spiraling toward Coruscant . . . with his passengers still alive; nearly wipe out two Rebel Alliance squadrons; and regain control of his fighter and make his way to an Imperial listening post following the Battle of Yavin gets my vote.

    Are you just talking about initially? Because Wedge is definitely on the list and was at the time of your comment. I agree with you though about his skill. I wish that Lawson was more interested in coming back to SW, but I get that it's just not his cup of tea.

    I don't know why Wedge couldn't have been recast. I mean two actors have already played him in one movie.

    Without a doubt, Anakin is the best pilot in the galaxy. At least if you can only choose from the movies and the new canon. But he also has a very strong connection to the force to augment his flight prowess. It’s obvious from SOLO and the ongoing Star Wars comic that Disney has established that Han is the best in the galaxy and will continue to be throughout his life. Then he does and Poe Dameron is the best.
    Shout out to the real best pilot ever...Jaina Solo.
    And the awesome New Republic X-wings in Resistance.
