    Maybe in the end Rey is revealed to be Kylo's daughter ... at least time travel would be a new thing.
    Not that I really believe that, but I already can hear her screaming "Noooooo!". You know, just like I can hear everyone else in this forum screaming "Noooooo!" while reading this post. :p

    Wait...you mean to say that Daisy totally downplayed her character being the hero and strong enough in the Force to block Darth Vader’s grandson in a mind probe? And do a Force pull and Mind Trick with no training?

    Why would she intentionally downplay something like that in a press interview?

    That is the one piece in the Visual Dictionary that Pablo won’t give a direct answer on.

    We shall see.

    The ring looks like an 8. Which as you know, if 180 ° overturned becomes the symbol of the infinite.
    If MSW is correct, then Ahch To must be pronounced "OOC-TO".
    And, "OCTO" in latin (OTTO in Italian)... means Eight.

    Everyone and everything is connected trough the Force, me, you, the rock,galaxies.....

    So I am afraid nope, intellectully(of course not expecting everyone to see, and presuming filmamaker chosed to be intellectually consistent ), I have proven Ray can not be random.

    If she is mysteriously connected with Kylo Ren (said so in databank), this is special type of connection, which excludes Rey as a random character .

    In the Bloodline, Leia is on few ocasions highlighted as a master in sabacc.

    She goes and beats a hell out of professional sabacc players in casino as a sport. She can beat anyone in sabacc(Force helps her obviously).

    Where I am going?

    If she wanted to controll the path of this stollen "Han's toy" , for whatever reasons, she could do it by getting it trough sabacc.

    It's funny, but she's not shown as the gambling type in the films.
    It would seem a bit "off" seeing her as a sort of weird old gambling lady on Canto Bight.
    But Rian Johnson said the movie is going to be a lot of fun.

    a true Force bond is something we haven't seen in the Star Wars films.
    not a bond like that between Luke and Leia, but the ability to see and experience everything the other person is seeing and experiencing through the Force.
    it was already implied in TFA (and toned back by request, probably for a bigger, more splashy reveal).

    a bond would explain Rey's ability to tap into the Force so readily, her ability to beat Ren at his own mind probe, and may even explain how she was able to mind trick the stromtrooper.

    and she doesn't need to be a Skywalker for any of it.

    I have never been a fan of and still am not of Rey Solo because it makes no sense, but it occurs to me they are now going out of their way to say Snoke is an extremely power telepath. Its far fetched but could he have exerted some kind of Force amnesia on all the people who knew about or would remember Rey? Everyone Han, Leia, Kylo Ren all reacted to " the girl" but didn't seem to know her. Could he be keeping Kylo so close to maintain the manipulation? They still wouldn't be twins by the way but siblings is on the table. Just a random thought.

    Snoke is so much an "extremely powerful telepath" that he doesn't know:

    -where Luke is in the galaxy, the First Order need the map
    -where Leia and the Resistance Base are in the galaxy, it's because they tracked the reconnaissance ship that they know they are in the illenium System

    Nope sorry, Rey daughter of Leia makes no sense with what have been presented in TFA and Bloodline, or Leia is the worst mother ever...

    Snoke is now confirmed to be extremly powerful and telepathic.We know that from before,but anyway we struggled for 2 years to explain to poeple he can infuence even babies in mother wombs dragging them to the dark side (Aftermath novel) .He however could not sense Rey on Jakku she has dissapeared for him at her age of 5.(jet in Snoke's behavior after Rey was found its hinted he remembers the case of some girl).

    Only way to hide Rey from such monster would be deleting even her memories, making her force abilities dormant, and make memories of all others dull, in fact make others believe she is dead (because Snoke could sense plot if someone secretly knew she was alive !!!).......

    Only person that has power to hide her emotions and memories from Snoke, is probabaly Leia .(he can't track Leia anymore, she obviously learned in time to dodge him,and Luke has found unique place to hide).

    After I abandoned Rey Solo they are relasing the peaces of puzzle that fitts into prerequisite that I established for Rey Solo to work, ......and that is fearsome and unexpected Snoke who appeared in the galaxy stage like a nuclear bomb from nowhere years before, targeting firstly Skywalker family in many ways , for they are his main enemies.

    Now is confirmed Snoke is a beast.

    Now, hiding Rey from him at any cost makes sense.I knew it from the first moment, never could explain why, now it aligns.

    She has been saved from Snoke.
    Luke was hiding from Snoke.
    Leia, has probabaly developed ablity, after painful experience, to cloak herself , to supress her feelings and emotions, to cloak herself from Snoke..

    Over the past couple of days, I realised something I noticed in TFA. Rey tells Han on Takodana that she has to get back to Jakku which he then tells Maz and Leia. What Rey doesn't tell him is WHY it's so important for her to get back. So when Maz says to Rey "Han told me" and Leia to Finn "Han told me about the girl" this little fact they don't know.

    How could Leia have responded, and the movie played out, if Han told her that Rey had to get back to Jakku because she's waiting for her family to come back and get her which could be anytime??

    Thanks for posting the dialogue I was trying to avoid without a spoiler tag.
    Secondly, if Ahch-TO was a great hiding place, why would he hide Rey on Jakku? LOL
    Thirdly, Luke is making a point about not wanting to be involved, not that he is trying to avoid Snoke's gaze, I reckon.

    Intriguing.

    Rey certainly had in her subconsciousness an imprint of urgence not to leave Jakku, to stay there.That she must stay there untill the time come...

    She is excellent pilot, she is highly intelligent,and despite her Force abilities dormant she was superior human already there on Jakku.
    She could have leaved Jakku temporerly, for "scouting" , to see what's going on any time after she became self-sustained scavenger.

    Jet, Rey stayed, she is fixated for Jakku by unknown "order" to stay. Staying there was life saving for her.Until some things that should transpire, do transpire.
