    My final Rey theory:

    She accidentally killed her parents, like how Ben accidentally destroyed the Jedi temple.
    Rey was abandoned after doing this, like how Ben was abandoned by Luke.
    Rey's parents have some Dark Side link - maybe to Palpatine.
    Ben is of course the son of Light Side heroes, Han and Leia.
    Their connection is that they're soul mates.

    By the end of TLJ I have a suspicion that Ben and Rey together will destroy Snoke, leaving Hux as Villain-in-Chief.
    They will go off together and we will have three factions - The Resistance, The First Order and ReyLo.

    Rey Solo would be absolutely superior scenario considering Star Wars legacy, which would allow perfect and troughout redemption of Ben Solo in front of his sister, and justiffication of lives, and deaths ,of Leia Organa and Han Solo, while the Luke Skywalker will have a chance to acheive with Rey what he has failed to acheive with Ben, and to became her second father, same thing that Obi-Wan Kenobi ment to Luke, and trough Rey to save all of them.

    Alternative scenario, Rey the Luke's daughter is also satissfactory, however not perfect as Rey Solo.

    I also will of course accept any other inferior approach, to the point of stripping Rey to a random born potential bride destined to amalgamate character weaknesses of failed 10 years older Skywalker , Ben Solo , from the failed Solo family, by his redemption trough.. romance.( I will actually probably never learn to like it , but would accept it since I love Star Wars more than I would have strenght to curse those who would do this to Star Wars).

    What is most important however is the overal quality of the film which we must hope will be supreme, because this quality is what is maintaining Star Wars. Not quantity but quality.

    So, since it is one week before the film, I should( I hope) rest my case in here,to let us see.

    Time is the greatest lord.

    I definitely can agree and see Rey doing something that scared/affected her parents. She has definitely shown and affinity for the force. She could have did something that scared her parents (or even killed) and so she was abandoned. Given the flash back in TFA with little Rey calling for the departing ship, she could just as well be from a different world and her parents (or person) found the most remote planet to leave her.

    I've wanted her to be a Skywalker, but with the release Luke's lines, "who are you", I think it is unlikely for her to be Luke's daughter. There is the chance, as has been theorized, that he doesn't know about her. It has happened before, ***cough*** Anakin/Padme ***cough***, and could be a nod to the PT, but I doubt it. Would be sad that Skywalkers are always a baby daddy and not know it.

    As far as Rey Solo, I still haven't heard a good reason for them to leave her, esp at the age she was left. It would have been before Kylo fell and Snoke came out of the closet. I still feel like Lea and them knew Snoke by the way she speaks of him. Could be wrong, but only a little over a week to go.

    It would be awkward they say mother of two after they spent so much effort to delude people she is just a mother of guy for which we find out is the only Skywalker heir in the 5th minute of the first film in the trilogy .....:p

    Ridley wasn't bringing up the theories, Glamour was. The interview from beginning to end is rather irreverent.

    She knows people won't believe she's answering that theory after she said in TFA she wasn't.

    Rey Solo confirmation is turning this thread in to a celebration, because the differences we had are dissapearing since this mastepiece scenario
    oveshadows anything said by anyone and makes it unimportant including me, like the single stars are not visible on the sky during the day because of the power of the light from the sun.

    Our meeting after the film will be magnificant, since ingenuity of Rey Solo brings further groundbreaking implications which are far more important to debate than Rey Solo which was just the begining..

    So enjoy the film, Rey Solo in fact has been confirmed .




    You dont run away from the truth like that if you are not Rey Solo
