Rey Solo

It is likely how the story originally developed, but all stories go through many drafts..

 

I don't understand how it is any cheaper than Rey being a Skywalker/Solo or any cheaper than Leia being lukes sister or Luke saving the galaxy coz he loves his dad.
What's cheap about it?

Padmé "l love you Ani"

so just like Anakin-Padmé ?

And no, I'am not a sock of that other person from my country. I'am just a naive 45 year old SW fan when I signed to this forum in 2016, believing that love can conquer all in my favorite franchise. Somehow, I missed the fact that there were bunch of people out there that didn't get it at all. Which was not a problem per se.
The problem was mocking, insulting, diminishing which at two most "classy" and "respectable" place was allowed and went without moderation.

I've heard this place didn't want to be to progressive - and that's fine for me. I'am from the traditional country. And never been into extreme feminism.

Well, thank you for making a one of me. Who would thought that SW fandom is capable of doing it.

What the heck are you talking about? This is not even a scenario.

 

There is no Reylo case in IX.

 

Yeah I get its a weird direction to go in. but I actually think its an interesting move, not a cheap one. I don't know how all this will play out, especially in the way it feels. I haven't even seen TLJ yet but I think the relationship between Rey and Ren has the potential to be engaging I'm sure.

I think as we move into IX the emotional weight of the trilogy will rest between Rey - Ren as they seem to be the heart of the new force Storyline. and if Ren goes full evil, and stays there then it doesn't justify the whole 9 film saga about the struggle of that family with light and dark.
So at this point Ben Solo's got to come back right? or the Saga makes no sense.

and in the case that he is redeemed, then he's gonna end up hanging out with Rey surely, even if its just as a fellow force user looking for answers.

Weather they are related to each other. or fall in love, or anything like that, I can go for any of it as long as its handled well.

There's now 2 possibilities for the future of the Skywalker family:

-no "Reylo" = end of the Skywalker family
-"Reylo" = the Skywalker family continue

 

See the film first. We cannot know until IX ends. In my perspective there are pandering scenes.

In my perspective, the rabid “Kylo twilight story fifty shades abusive relationship” people are just as bad as rabid Reylo Fans.

Both sides do a disservice to SW, the actors and the romances we’ve had so far in the OT and PT.

Remember Anakin and Padme? Reylo can never be as bad as that in my opinion.

It’s an interesting dynamic to me too. I just hope JJ doesn’t mess it up with his bad romance writing. Then it would be bad.
