    At least it isn't a Rey Solo petition. That never made sense, Skywalker had a chance.

    I think Kylo was. Rey's story and its themes wouldn't make too much sense otherwise.

    Anakin did the wrong thing and Luke the right thing (same family)
    The force was always bigger than one family, there were thousands of other force users.

    Luke goes on about how he was too caught up being the legendary Luke Skywalker to notice the signs of his nephew turning. that's a direct reference to him being a Skywalker and how that's not the end all be all.

    soooo many fans are pitching a hissy fit because Rey is unrelated to the Skywalkers. why would they be so upset if Star Wars was always about something more than the Skywalker family?

    i think this movie is trying to distance the Force from the Skywalkers so as to allow that feeling of, "anything is possible," to return to the franchise. it's not about being a Skywalker or inheriting some family power despite what so many people seem to want.

    You know what., It just came to me.

    Snoke is killed by Light saber and that still ignited Light saber is catched by Rey....in fact she pulls it to herself and by this slices Snoke in half.

    There is only one character in SW previously known to use ignited saber from distance(and throws it like boomerang)..Darth Vader.

    Rey is Vader's granddaughter afteral?

    I don't think so. Rey is nobody's granddaughter. That's the tragedy of her life. We should all adopt her! She can have a 1,000 uncles and aunts!

    Anyway...as long as she is also random (free) in her chosing of partner to( in which case Kylo is absolutely throw-up excluded for her ) I am fine with that!

    The most catastrophic thing would be random born unfortunate girl, however, not randomly Force bound and destined to mary Supreme Leader Kylo.
