i super doubt FinnRey will happen. they're more like brother and sister than anything.

the look Poe and Rey share at the end definitely felt like more than a hello, but you're right, it's way too early to call.

I want Rey to be happy more than anything else! If it's Poe she wants to be with! I say Y-E-S!

No chance. They’re like siblings. ReyPoe might have a momentary glimmer but it won’t amount to anything. Rey looked at finn nursing Rose with contentment but also the look of the of someone who knows they’re on a different path and that they have experienced something those around her cannot fathom. Only Ren is Rey’s equal. And as much as she might try and find a normal life with someone like Poe, she won’t get it.

She must face Kylo Ren again...and she won’t be content until Ben Solo returns. That is her hero journey goal, just as Kylo’s is to turn her....

Seriously it might not happen for Rey but they want possibilities. Hence the secret Chewie is suppose to tell Finn. As well as the flirty looks from Poe. Its all meant to keep us guessing and speculating.

I have seen that ring referred to as a "Mother's ring." On earth it would have the birthstones of the her children in it, but I don't know what it would mean in a GFFA. She does consistently wear, it, though. Thanks for the close-up picture.

 

I guess no one told Rian Johnson about the ring. He wrote the film and he says she's a no body.

 

Didn't they (producers) already stated that Rey's parents are NOT in the movies?

 

It doesn’t matter who says what, people on these boards will argue their ideas for years. Even after the final credits roll, they won’t be swayed. Snoke is Plagueis and still alive. Rey is a Skywalker, etc.

 

I'll wager a bet when the next film comes out and if her parentage isn't changed from its current 'fact' they'll still be people on here that think otherwise and threads dedicated to 'proving' it.

 

Because as a character has given a statement (of which Rey agreed with) on her parentage it is currently a fact, until something else is said in the future that changes it.

 

Is that also why they gave us like 10 different angles of Snokes dead body and his face with his tongue out? So people on here will still speculate that he’s a projection and still alive and still Plaugeis?

They want Rey’s parents conversation over. J.J. made the mistake of being mysterious about it and the fans went nuts. I believe they intended to have these films about the “somebody” with the mighty bloodline and the “nobody” that can become a hero.
They are beating us over the head with the message that heroes can come from anywhere. Rey, Finn, heck even stable boy. Heroes can come from anywhere, not just the Skywalker bloodline.
