    Director Rian Johnson took to Twitter to continue his interaction with the fans. With a brief tweet Johnson answered a big question from the fans, and while there were no big revelations, he did say that he'll be an attendee at this year's Disney D23 Expo. Read on for more....







    He's been setting the internet on fire across the globe ever since taking on the directorial role for the upcoming Star Wars: The Last Jedi. And Rian Johnson once again set pulses racing, as he posted an seemingly innocent tweet that is sure to make rounds on Twitter. The American born director, 43, simply responded with a quick 'yesssssss' when asked by a fellow Twitter user, if he was going to make an appearance at the upcoming Disney D23 Expo.



    So will his appearances be in a fan capacity or will it be something more? With the aforementioned rumor of a behind the scenes reel being shown, it would make sense for someone like the 'director' to all make an appearance on stage to kick off the BTS reel (note: the presentation will be at 10 am (PT) on Saturday, July 15). Now this would coincide with what Steven Weintraub, one of Collider's top-rated hosts, recently said on Twitter about the possibility that Disney will bring a behind-the-scenes reel for The Last Jedi and that it might be shown at D23 instead of a trailer. This actually follows with how Disney and Lucasfilm have operated in the past as both The Force Awakens and Rogue One saw behind-the-scene reels released in mid July (in similar type of events, respectively).






    So the question is, what will Rian be doing at the event? Will attendees at Disney’s D23 Expo be treated to some extra special The Last Jedi goodness as the film will be part of a huge live-action panel presentation?     If nothing else, I hope we get a behind-the-scenes reel at D23. (I'd love a trailer, but I'm really not going to get my hopes up with that.)
