I dont think OB1 film would make any sense. He is literally stuck on Tatooine. I dont think they would ever think of sending him off to another planet just for movie sake. Plus in Rebels Maul even sniffs it out when he finds him. He doesnt know who but its someone of importance. thats why OB1 had to kill Maul. Maul knows this person is strong with the force. just imagine if they brought Vader to duel OB1 in a film before ANH. Vader would of found out about Luke. That's why OB1 sacrificed himself to become stronger in the force. Plus Yoda tells OB1 in ROTS that in his solitude on Tatooine he will teach him to communicate to QGin and more of the force.

It wont happen. It's too complex to start with if your dealing with OB1, just like Yoda movie, maybe prior to the OT. You can always make a Vader movie with him hunting down Jedi. but right now the closes thing we have Canon to Vader/Jedi is Rebels.

 

Maul didn't really sniff him out. He saw a vision of the twin suns and where Obi-wan was when the two holocrons were merged.

 

I know. Im saying during the duel and at the end. maul figures out that OB1 is there for a purpose then asked him if he (the person he is watching aka Luke) is the one who will bring balance. dont quote me that, plus im lazy to copy the youtube link on here on that scene.

I know about the visions with Ezra and all, not trying to sound like an ass(in my head i do) Maul wanted to know where and if OB1 was alive. the addition to his motives was after. Maul didnt get that vision about Luke with Ezra.

The Maul vs Kenobi story would've been amazing but they already did that with Rebels. I think Kenobi meeting Satine would be a great one. Satine would be on the big screen!

 

For me no Vader and no Maul, please! In the best case, Obi-Wan is the only lightsaber-user in the whole movie. An Obi-Wan-movie should just take place on Tatooine, with a small, very private, but emotionally intense story, maybe really with a lot of western elements in the style of "Once upon a time in the west" - only maybe a bit "easier", because it's a SW-movie nonetheless. I really wish an Obi-Wan-movie, but I also know, that it is difficult to make it good.

The only scenario, where there could be more "jedis" in the Obi-Wan-movie, would be a movie, that doesn't only take place at Obi's tatooine times, if they tell a story over the whole lifetime of Obi-Wan, ending with his days on the desert planet.

 

I'd like to see a movie set on Alderaan, He goes there for aid, it turns out to be a bigger problem then first thought, meets up with Ahsoka Tano ( i dont know if she's dead or not so please no spoilers ) they both go in together but in a final battle she is killed off in a selfless Ahsoka way. The dialog between these two talking about Vader could be amazing, Both lost there best friend, they could of been discussing a way to get him back before she is killed.

 

I can't understand why so many people expect to see Ahsoka Tano in one of the movies. For a big part of the audience, Ahsoka would be an unknown person. A jedi-non-jedi-or-whatever that comes out of the blue, out of nowhere. So, for me, it also wouldn't be clever to use her in the movies.

 

Who cares if she is unknown. Rey, Finn, poe...etc, etc are all unknown before they were put into a movie.

 

But for me an unknown soldier (rebel or stormtrooper) or a girl that lives on a desert planet is something different than a third power-user who survived Order 66 with a strong background concerning Anakin Skywalker and the beginning of the rebellion... Things like the information that Anakin had a "padawan" would feel like a retcon for those who haven't seen "Clone Wars"...

 

I understand what you mean but like someone posted before they are always adding new characters in, What about MAz, Rose, Pink hair lady etc... all unknown and not overly large roles. For me, adding her would blow my mind, seeing her on the big screen, using the same actor or just her voice. I've grown to enjoy seeing her in action.

(Personally i would of love having Ahsoka instead of Maz)

 

Rose and "Pink hair lady" were both characters we didn't see just because there was no former movie where we could have, because there was no movie that took place in the era between TFA and TLJ - and especially in the case of "pink hair lady" I also would have prefered it, if she was shown in TFA before. Of course, I can understand, why people, who have seen CW for many years, would love it to see Ahsoka in "real action", but for me, a retcon (and for the movies, it would be a kind of a retcon) is always the worst way to tell a story...

 

I have been wondering about the script because i was just happening to see what happens to Obi-Wan on wookiepedia and there is so much in clone wars and rebels that is already cannon is there anything they can do that would be different an hasn't been seen yet? now please forgive me I havent seen either of those animated series so i may be ignorant.

what would you guys want?
