Maybe. Or maybe not. I guess that, as Supreme Leader Snoke says, "we shall see" next December. Looking forward to it!

I know! I'm looking forward to see more stuff connecting Rebels with R1 and ANH. As I said, it is exciting because we are getting close to home but st the same time it scares me to find out what happens with our Ghost crew friends as we get closer to the Tantive IV being captured by Vader.

BTW, I loved Ezra when he heard Fulcrum and immediately he said: "Ahsoka?". The feels.

Imagine...just IMAGINE...if they pulled a huge twist, with Kallus and Zeb now "even", and Kallus later kills Zeb as he always (originally) intended.

It won't happen, but crossed my mind

Do you believe that? What tension they blew up one ship and played it like it was a surprise. Don't tell me you didn't know exactly who died. Of course Pryce asked which one is the Rebel well there was the one in four chance you blew up that person up for no real reason.

I do think the creators put it in there for that reason. If none of the good guys ever died, there would be no threat. Does it work particularity well for me? Not really, but it would be way worse if there weren't ever causalities.

Nostalgia for me too! I was expecting those A-wings to utilise their speed better in the dogfights and I remember TIE bombers as being shielded but I could be wrong there...

I hope Wedges plays a minor role in this season. He's a factor in the OT and seeing him now would make the rebellion more of a factor showing him build his squadron through Rebels. I still think Sabine/Ezra/Wedge might play a lil part of a lil lovers quarrel. I like how their will be more defectors throughout the series and hoping to see a few from R1. Im not still sold on R1 but I hope Rebels kinnda helps the cause...

...YES! A-Wings (were) the *best*...incredibly slick... with a half-decent pilot, it was the ideal ship to outmatch NUMEROUS tie interceptors. I'm a little disappointed with how they're being portrayed in 'Rebels'. ...but I suppose that may be so the X-Wing can be brought in as the superior starfighter(?)

    The bombers...
I'm not sure either... as I remember, TIE bombers were heavily armoured, but not usually "shielded". The tie advanced were the first energy-shielded imperial starfighters, as I remember...or were the gunboats the first(?)

In fact, I wonder if the A-Wings as depicted in 'Rebels' are shielded(?) They certainly don't seem as if they are!

How old was wedge supposed to be? He certainly looked closer to han's age in ANH and here he looked, sounded and acted about 16. I would have been more psyched on wedge if he was portrayed better.

Overall this one was a clunker for me, although i was happy to see sabine on her own.

Also, Are hera, zeb or rex even on this show anymore?

My only complaint was this dude's voice. Really ridiculous.

I think the next episode is Hera centered. Probably going to see the crew split up a lot more this season with Kanan and Ezra focused on force related business, Sabine getting caught up with the Mandalorian stuff and Hera being more of a leader and working to bring the Ryloth resistance more into the rebellion proper. Which probably means Zeb is going to die in this season as I don't really see him having a lot of purpose to the story now.

Exactly the way I felt. Even though I knew it wasn't her. :( Then Hera dropping the disappointment bomb. "It's not Ahsoka."

Kallus could be the main head of the multiple people who are "fulcrum" .

It was all a bit 'meh' that episode. Felt more could have been done with Sabine infiltrating the academy perhaps over two episodes - it all happened a bit too quick for my liking and felt a bit of a cop-out when Ezra and crew just happened to be 'in the area' at the end. Hoping next episode will be back on form. :\

It was just okay for me, but I'm not complaining. Not sure why it didn't click - I think it mostly felt like a one-trick pony episode that we already knew the ending to ("this is the one where they recruit Wedge"), and so they were resorting to gimmicks to stretch it out (Sabine being "shot down", the decoy mission in space, etc.).

As a kid when the OT was new, I always liked Wedge b/c he was the one that didn't get all the attention, but was always there, so I am glad they are fleshing him out here a bit.

My favorite moment though was the nod to the old Kenner TIE Fighter toys - how the side panels popped off! Loved the reference because I used that feature often, and remember even using the ship without wings at times. I remember Filoni saying that he had Ezra and Zeb steal the TIE in S1 as a reference to his days as a kid playing, and having to figure out how to get the good guys to fly the TIE, since it was the coolest ship.

I agree! They've had a ton of nods to the toys, it's really great.

I also agree with those who commented on Sabine's hair. I get why they do what they do with her hair and the demographic they want her to appeal to, but it made her look much more mature and much more like the ANH era than the post-Prequels era.

Here's a thought. Has anyone considered that Fulcrum could be Thrawn or an agent acting on his behalf, or even genuine but still being manipulated by Thrawn? We know that Thrawn is fine with handing the Rebels some small victories in order to net the largest catch later on.

I really enjoyed this episode. Visually it was stunning and kept me drawn in the whole time. Good story too. Season 3 is ticking most the boxes so far!
