    As far as Episode 7 for Shin, like most of this series, it was a pretty unexpected turn of events, and I really was along for the ride. I did not see Baylan just basically dismissing her like that and I wonder if that was some sort of a test, like his version of the Jedi Trials, and now he will cut off her braid and consider her a full-fledged Whatever-the-hell he is trying to be.

    Indeed! Ep.7 was huge for the Shin character, much bigger than 6 was. But perhaps she's just a nerd and loved hanging around Thrawn and Stormtroopers and whatnot :)

    "Jedi Trials" was my thought too, exactly :D

    I felt like Shin got the short-end of the stick here for her ending.

    So now, she either sweeps in and goes 'Anakin-hates-Sand People' on the red riders or she now runs with the red rider crew? meh...
