Star Wars: Battlefront

Having a hard time buying that part of the first major DLC drop besides Jakku will be "new clothes for Luke & Leia that reference the prequels".

Obviously Luke & Leia are OT, not PT. EVERYTHING in the game is OT to this point. Why would your first & only hint at the prequels be clothes? Just seems odd and too much of a stretch to me.

So what are your thoughts of the game after release ??

 

Finally more than one word !

 

Battlefront 2 is better. I am kind of frustrated from this game as there is no team-play, so my average score for objectives is around 250-500 points per map, as everyone is running around killing on sight and like 2-3 people including me are doing objectives... There is always this one Peedunky, that kills me ten times consecutively, but can't be cheating on PS4. Haven't played the game for 3 weeks already and somehow, I don't want to.
The game has awesome Star Wars feeling and I love how it looks, how it sounds. Everytime I pop it in, I am full of joy and willing to play.
But after minutes of playing, I start to hate the gameplay.
I was thinking about selling it.

 

Anyone who would like to play battlefront togheter and perhaps skype at the same time?

So the January update for Star Wars Battlefront has been revealed on gamespot:

• Hoth outfits for Han and Luke
• The Raider Camp map from Survival mode will be playable in multiplayer matches such as Blast, Droid Run, etc.
• Space for daily challenges and communtiy events
• Private matches

Two future updates were also mentioned

February

• New Survival Map for Hoth
• New Multiplayer Map for Walker Assault, Supremecy, Turning Point, and Fighter Squadron on Hoth
• All Maps that support Walker Assault and Supremecy will also support Turning Point

March

• New Tatooine survival map
• New Endor Walker Assault, Supremecy, Turning Point map

Furthermore, some info came out about the paid expansions:

• Outer Rim (March 2016) - "Fight among the factories of Sullust and battle within Jabba the Hutt's palace on Tatooine."
• Bespin (Summer 2016) - "It's hunt or be hunted in this action-packed experience set in the Cloud City of Bespin."
• Death Star (Fall 2016) - "That's no moon! One of the most iconic locations in the Star Wars universe makes its debut in Star Wars Battlefront."
• Expansion Pack 4 (Early 2017) - "Title and details to be announced."

 

A Coruscant map would be awesome and so would A Kamio map and so would the moons of Iago where the "angels" are that Anakin Skywalker Mentions .

 

Those would be good maps. If you've watched Star Wars The Clone Wars tv show one of the angels actually makes an appearance in an episode.
