RUMOR 'Star Wars: Episode 8' Supposedly Features Luke Skywalker In A Giant Space Casino, Plus More Scene D

    the latest Star Wars: Episode 8 rumors are to be believed. Okay, maybe that’s a bit of an exaggeration, but the normally-reliableMaking Star Wars has reported the Jedi Master’s presence in a casino during the upcoming installment of the space saga.

    According to the site, “Luke walks around the casino looking for someone,” thoughMSW’s sources cannot pin down exactly who that “someone” is. It may be a shady figure, as the report also claims that the casino will basically be a super-version of the cantinas we’ve seen throughout Star Wars. Needless to say, there will be lots of aliens - much more than we’ve ever seen before. Not to mention that people (or ‘beings’ in this case) who engage in criminal behavior tend to hang out in places like casinos. Is Luke in search of a bad guy or a helpful Maz Kanata type? We can’t wait to find out.

    I think either he's looking for a bounty hunter like his dad in AOTC and/or he's trying to find Lando Calrissian while trying to protect him from a bounty hunter(s) but I also think that they're both tumors AND spoilers .

    I find the notion of Luke and Rey in a space casino to be potentially hilarious (because they're the last two characters who'd you picture being in such a place). I wonder if they'd get "dressed up" in formal attire for the occasion? And it could be funny if they're not used to/comfortable with it and thus rather awkward.

    Basically, it could be a lot of fun if done well.

    With the clothes on Dubrovnik they seem similar to his attire in ROTJ so I think that it would be cool to see him in something similar .

    I think the rumor may be accurate, but the context is not clear. I don't think Luke or Rey are or will end up where the Dubrovnik shoot was. There was no evidence from that shoot to suggest those two characters will show up on the same planet.

    I speculated something similar about BDT yesterday. I think it is very possible. I believe he said months ago that he would be filming in March. This rumored scene would likely be filmed at Pinewood so the Dobruvnik shoot could be part of the same sequence as the main actors would be at Pnewood.

    I also think it would be cool if Luke was looking for Lando
