It's an out of context 30 second clip, dude. You're overanalyzing this blast way to much. Star Wars has always had this fun banter.

That's your issue? Haven't you ever heard of "I got a bad feeling about this"?

Yeah, that line was repeated across a bunch of movies.. not three times in the same scene. Not what I was saying at all.

Go check the clip on Youtube by the way, every other comment is about how bad the joke is... in their opinions.

Remember when people were allowed opinions around here, and didn't have to blindly love everything?

Then what where you saying? Because it certainly sounds like you complaining about the number of times it was said. This is a 30 second clip out of a 2 hour + movie. No one is going to remember this clip when getting out of the theater.

I thought it was a cool scene because I had seen the pic and it's in the trailer. Always wondered what what was happening.

I'm talking about the new clip, btw...

Do you mean Sandtumblers (Stormtrooper Sandcrawlers that are like Batman’s Motocycle in The Dark Knight)?

No. I'm talking about the barge ship(whatever that Rey, Poe Chewie, C3PO and Finn are on.) Was wondering what what happening in that scene.

Although those sandcrawler things are crazy.

We know now why in ANH the stormtroopers killed the Jawas and blasted the Sandcrawler. They were stealing these Sandcycles!

Daisy gives us a hint as to who left the script under their bed.

Is she just insinuating that it was John Boyega who lost the script, or just that he likes to talk a lot and would have no problem blabbing who it really was?

The dialogue spoke takes place in less then 5 seconds and I will say again. To get bothered by that you must be looking for something to complain about and I feel sorry for people that are looking to be upset.

Some great moments in OT dialogue

Make sure to whine this “But I was going into Tosche Station to pick up some power converters!”
"Will somebody get this big walking carpet out of my way!"
“Governor Tarkin, I should’ve expected to find you holding Vader’s leash. I recognized your foul stench when I was brought on board.”

This following sequence is like nails on a chalk board to me and this is from the perfect film ESB.

"I dont know where you get your delusions laser brain." - Leia
    laughter - Chewie
"Laugh it up fuzzball" - Han
"You didnt see us alone in the south passage" - Han
"She expressed her true feelings for me" - Han
"Why, you stuck up, half-witted, scruffy-looking Nerfherder!" - Leia
    "Whose scruffy looking" - Han
"Must have hit her close to the mark to get her all riled up like that, hug kid" - Han
" I guess you dont know everything about women yet" - Leia

My credits are on that It was Adam Driver. He left it under his bed to go to Cantina with friends and came back to find it stolen.,

In this scene, they say the same line three times over 5-10 seconds.

In the examples you gave as a comparison, you used the "I've got a bad feeling about this." line. This line was said once per film usually.

Did three characters say it one after another over 10 seconds? They didn't.

If you can't see the difference.. I am sorry.

That's a great scene in my opinion. I always liked seeing Luke, Han and Leia sharing dialogue together (didn't happen often) and Carrie nailed the lines as always in my opinion. I thought it was funny when Han replied with "whose scruffy looking" but of course that's my opinion. One fan's "I am your father" is another fan's "Let's go, chrome dome!" and that's okay.

    I mean, if you think:

    "They fly now!"
    "They fly now!"
    "They fly now!"

is better than all of the lines in the "scruffy looking nerfherder" scene... then we'll have to agree to disagree.

The criticisms.. “they fly now!” TROS isn't even out and its getting picked apart. Listen, we’ve got the OTesque Masterpiece “The Mandalorian” and upcoming Cassian Andor and Clone Wars; why not be thankful and let ST fans enjoy their film.

That Toshi station line though. Totally academy award winning...

As for the people trying to point out and complain that because Finn was in the FO that he would've known about the rocket troopers. Maybe it was top secret and they just got their rocket trooper license. I mean he left before he was picked and in the cool circle to try them out. So how would he know?

It is crazy, but remember that it's being 'picked apart' by people who peddle negativity for clicks, and the people who feed off that kind of thing, for whatever reasons.
If that is the worst thing anyone can come up with, Star Wars is doing great.

These critics feed on hate like you say; they arn’t happy unless others are unhappy. Its sadism. Hate is growing.. we Jedi must work hard to fight it via compassion, peace, and knowledge. For non-Jedi I suggest Asajj’s words:

“Nightsisters know the dark side better than anyone. We grow up steeped in it, but we can use it as a tool and stay ourselves—unlike the Sith. That balance is what you must learn.” -ASAJJ VENTRESS TO QUINLAN VOS
