    Has it more or less been made 'official' that Maz's castle and the Resistance base are on the same planet?

    Not to my knowledge. The only thing that been confirmed is that Takodana is the planet where Maz is.

    I think it's just speculation the resistance base is there too.

    If this FF image is related to the Force Awakens then there's a good chance this is also Takodana and may explain the second unit shooting in the Hang en cave complex.

    It doesn't make sense that the Resistance Base is on the same planet as Maz's castle. It appears the heroes all go to the resistance base after the First Order attack, and things look safe and sane there. If the First Order is there attacking Maz's castle - why not just attack the Resistance Base? Maybe the First Order retreats once they have Rey because they're just going to nuke the whole system with the Starkiller and they wanted to save Rey first?

    That would be one semi-plausible way that the resistance base could be on the same planet as Maz's castle - but I doubt it.

    No offense, but I have tried to follow your breadcrumbs on other occasions and although they lead to similarity of names of certain characters, I guess I am too stupid to see what your overall end-game connection is. Maybe there is some super secret code here to reveal the overall plot of TFA, but I am just not seeing it yet. Project Almanac time travel, Real Steel fighting robots... there may be some tangential connection to Star Wars, but I am afraid you are going to just have to spell it out for dolts like me.

    Yes, please give us carnivores something more substantial to chew on if you really think you have it.

    Finn is a metaphor/Binary symbol for a certain portion of the human psyche, much like Ego, Super Ego, Etc...But only in a CERTAIN SPECIFIC KIND OF INDIVIDUAL

    Other films And television have utilized it, but Project Almanac is probably the most distinguishably clear representation.

    Much of the EU is a quesadilla, whereas the official films are a 7 layer burrito

    The Star Wars Disneyland/Disney World attraction - which that last image is concept art for - is confirmed to be a new planet entirely. I think you are definitely on to something with the other images, though!
    Let's not go down this path again...

    I will say that I don't think it's likely that Takodana and the planet where the Resistance base is located are the same. If that were the case, then the First Order would order a more large-scale attack on Maz's planet to destroy the Resistance, and it does not seem like there's any Resistance activity on a planet of pirates.
