    I have a feeling that it may pause for a bit, especially if there is a time jump. but i think its going to take a mutual pain to build the connection to build again just like feeling alone was this films mutual connection.

    and what is that connection? the passing of Leia

    Kylo seems to dislike men more than women. He murders Han and tries to kill Luke at least twice. But when it comes down to Leia and Rey, he's unable.

    So Leia dying probably will have some effect on him. We're probably going to lose some drama here since Carrie has passed, but I suspect E9 will open with Leia's death mentioned in the opening scroll and then we see how Kylo reacts. Finally having his past killed for him will probably unhinge him, IMO, and then he'll be open to Rey's appeals.
