    What if by the time of Episode 7 the force is already asleep by Luke's doing. What if Luke does something so horrible with the force, like destroy an entire solar system during a vision, that he becomes afraid and realizes he can no longer control his powers. Afraid of what he's become having become a force god he is able to shut it off or draw it all in, and then goes into exile. Ex force sensitives, jedi, sith, the empire they all seek him for his power and to turn the force back on?

    This would be kinda like Ben Franklin shutting off electricity because he got shocked by the kite... how does one shut off a force of nature?
