Was looking over the leaked concept art, and noticed something with the Tatooine images. First The X-wing towing Pig, to the left of the wing tip and in front of the fallen at-at can be seen a YT-1300, crashed into the sand with the other debris. Next the one title WIP, needs less pointing out then the first to see what is CLEARLY a yt-1300...and if you needed further proof of it, the final image POD BIKE, check out what is in front of the pod, and behind the building ahead :) Looks like a YT to me.

Maybe the Tattoine-looking planet is actually Corellia? Where YT's are more common?

Or if these are the Falcon, perhaps Han is visiting his rebellious daughter... making sure she isn't getting in too much trouble.

Is one of the YT's the smaller craft spotted in production blueprints, and dubbed 'The Carousel'?

Maybe if Daisy is Han's daughter, she pilots the baby falcon with her own sidekick a la Chewie.

"Carousel" might just be a word used to describe a rotating set piece, for stunt sequences. This is how such props and stages are described in the theater.

I know. Far more fun to speculate other meanings though.

To me they used the name 'Carousel' because that is how they see it as. Not just because the Falcon is round, but because it goes around, and around, the galaxy with the characters in it. You can say the same thing for 'Zorro's mask'.
Everybody assumes that they are on Tatooine, I am not in that majority.

The full concept art with the pod bike is just another perspective of the outpost/ranch in the other concept art featuring the Falcon, Outrider, and Tantive as what I assume to be stand-ins for ship designs that weren't finalized or to show what it would look like with ships landed there. I doubt we'll be seeing Dash Rendar in this, but heck who knows, maybe Oscar Isaac is playing him or a similar character.

Addressing your post more directly now, I don't believe it is crashed there. It could either be that the Falcon truly does land there, in that case it is either a small trading port or the Falcon is visiting a junk yard for spare parts. I can see that this concept seems to portray the YT-1300 on its belly and not on feet (maybe I'm just not seeing the landing struts), which seems strange to me. Perhaps it is not the falcon, not even a hero ship, but a literal pile of junk, not the souped-up hot rod like Han and Chewie had?

The Falcon is portrayed in a lot of concepts, but I'm curious as to whether it will actually make appearances there or this was really early stuff and they just wanted a cool-looking ship to fill in. In any case, I'd like to see some banter between Han and Ridely's character about the Falcon looking like it belongs in a junk pile.

EDIT: I realize now that I was looking at the wrong concept art in regards to the crashed YT-1300. I see it now! In front of the Star Destroyer. Again, I believe this is either a generic YT-1300 or a stand-in ship. That also somewhat makes me lean more towards that other art with the supposed Falcon next to the Tantive being a non-functioning wreck. You can see some kind of framework like supports for repairs, but that could also support the theory that the Falcon lands there for repairs. In any case, we don't really know yet! Anything goes!

I think we will see the Falcon on desert planet, I want to see them escape in it for a homage to Episode IV. But I can understand if it won't be

There was also the unconfirmed report of Ridley in the cantina, and Han outside in the streets, watching something explode in the skies...

I wasn't either, until the concept piece "Binary Sunset"

That and, as someone pointed out, Tattooine has played prominently in the first two trilogies...

I interpreted the Binary sunset art as a correlation to the scene with Luke in ANH, she like Luke feel they are stuck on the planet with no way off.
I did not see two suns in that art piece.

We think the Falcon was being used as a fill in for a ship in that piece, if you notice the Outrider is also there. Like I said before I believe the Falcon (piloted by Isaac, sorry Han Pilot fanboys) will be there but don't read too much in to the concept art

For example, Jason says R2 is the astromech in all the fighter concept art, when we can be pretty sure R2 isn't flying copilot for every member of the Republic's navy
