It's been said numerous times. Before Storygroup, everything null and void before Disney takeover (except 6 films and Clone Wars). Everything after has gone through story group and is canon. So of course, it's canon. It means that everytime something new is released, it's canon. Not trying to be a dick (maybe I've failed), but damn, I feel it could not be more clear. Witg this criteria, is it necessary to say (Tarkin is canon, A New Dawn is canon, even Ezra's Gamble is canon)

Same thing happened to me. my dad got me the comic. the comic was actually titled "Revenge of the Jedi". didnt ruin the movie for me. but it did take away from the thrill. however...I read the novel for Revenge of the Sith, and the book was fantastic. Iam glad i read the book before i saw the movie. the book puts the movie to shame..hands down. the movie is a joke compared to the book.

You are so right! I love the novelization of ROTS. It's got so much more depth and character than the movie. Read Dark Lord the rise of Darth Vader after and it's perfect. Even TPM and AOTC are better books than movies.

Keep in mind the accompanying novels are based off of the movie scripts. The story of the PT is great, the execution was flawed. Beyond that, I cannot argue against the point that the PT books are better than the films. I can't wait for the ST and the books which accompany them, and -- though I love the PT -- I expect the ST to be better executed than the PT.
