    So it's also premiering at Disneyland at 6:45pm PDT, which roughly coincides with the halftime show during MNF.

    I'm sure they won't have a live stream. Just posting they are showing it around the time half-time is expected to be. They may get it first, who knows at this point. Either way we will get it through football game and then online right after.

    I thought the Forbes article was worthy of a shrug, since I already know that big full movie trailers are for the general audience.

    That's kinda the whole point of trailers.

    All trailers/commercials are just foreplay designed to get you horny for the final product.

    Therefore the point he is really attempting to make is to pre-empt the inevitable complaints about the trailer from hardcover fans who come away disappointed. You are going to have blue balls. But that's just part of the fun.

    I just hope December 18th (17th for most of us) doesn't disappoint.

    One of the old MSW trailer descriptions of teaser 2 actually seems to fit quite a few of the scenes that have been recently released. I wouldn't be surprised if we will get to see more of those in the final trailer.

    For those wondering, the trailer will be longer than two minutes in length at the very least. The reason for that is that they're airing it at halftime, which itself is the only time during the game that they can show something that's longer than two minutes in length. Otherwise, they would show it as soon as they could.

    My sources confirm that the alien ship will show up just before halftime and the game will be cancelled so ESPN can broadcast the actual film in its entirety.

    Since we know that the general audience is likely unaware of Luke's overall involvement in The Force Awakens, and since he is completely absent from the poster, I expect the trailer to address his absence head on.

    Maybe we'll get confirmation of the rumored "Han and Leia haven't seen Luke in decades" plot point. I highly doubt we'll see him, since he is absent from the poster. The most I'd expect is some new dialogue from Luke, without seeing his face.
