    That last part of the alternate Binary Sunset has a Jedi Steps vibe to it.

    I'd have to find it, but John Williams gave an interview in 2005 for Revenge of the Sith, and among other things, he said something like, "And there are also several references to what we call the Imperial March, but which is actually Darth Vader's theme..." (emphasis added).

    I'm really surprised this hasn't leaked yet. I'm still almost certain it will, especially once it gets sent out to retailers. I'm still debating whether or not to listen. On one hand I don't want to be spoiled, but on the other it'll sure eat up a lot of time during the last few agonizing days of waiting. Maybe I can find a way to listen to it without looking at any of the track titles.

    There's someone on Reddit claiming to work in retail saying that he has the CD but would have to open the packaging to do so and he doesn't want to get fired so I'm sure it's coming up soon.

    Stay strong, we're almost there! Listening to the score before seeing the movie makes so little sense! OK, at least to me, I'm sure there are people who enjoy it the other way around... Personally, I find it sacrilegious. :)

    It's funny, I'm getting used to the thought that TLJ is almost here, because it's in my head all the time. But when I think about the fact that we're getting a new Star Wars score by John Williams next week, a part of me goes: "What?! That's crazy!" :p

    I found that listening to the score enhances the movie watching experience for me. For episode 3 I knew the soundtrack inside and out. And the most touching scene for me was during the "Padmes Ruminations" cue. I actually teared up during that scene.
    I've been seeking out listening to soundtracks well before the movie since Interview With the Vampire (Goldenthal). It always gives me more connectivity to the movie and ties actual visceral emotion to the scenes.

    To be honest, TFA soundtrack fell flat with me, but I heard it AFTER I had already seen the movie. I don't wish To do that with TLJ. I hope it leaks. I have it on preorder anyway. ;-)

    Rian Johnson has said that since there are over 30 minutes of deleted scenes, some of these scenes are scored with original John Williams pieces.

    Mmmmh. On soundtrack.net there are the leaked titles of the soundtrack. But they don't convince me, they are 22 tracks (and not 20 tracks as the placeholder numbers leaked previously) and they seems like fanfic ones.

    This looks awfully similar to the "leaked" tracklist from a couple months ago, but instead of "The Eclipse" we have "The Supremacy." Yeah. I don't trust it.
