    Forgive me if this has already been posted.

    There's this theory that links Rogue One to The Force Awakens and Episode VIII, and I was wondering whether you buy it or not (please watch until the end; it does get more and more convincing IMO).

    It's possible, however unlikely.
    If it weren't for the name and female stature of the last KoR, I would have quickly dismissed it.

    While he has some interesting theories, I really don't see the RO team risking life and limb to defeat the Empire just to then join them in the future. That and also that many of the RO team members are already pretty old and even if RO were just one year before ANH, that would be a whole 35 years before TFA. Every single member would be really old during the events of said movie.

    I really liked the video, but I think it's unlikely they all turn into the Knights of Ren. The art book (which I highly recommend) has 5 Knights, while TFA had 6 plus Kylo.

    Age-wise, Jyn would be in her mid-fifties and I guess it would be possible for her to fight at that age - she might have some Force help with kyber crystal she wears around her neck. As for everyone else, they would probably be in their late 60s/70s and I doubt it would be possible for them to fight at that age. Who knows? Maybe the Emperor developed a life preserving medicine.

    For now, other than R1 and the ST being SW movies there is no connection.( Not counting the DS display in TFA.)

    As for the R1 crew being the KoR? I highly doubt it. I don't think all of them make it out of R1. And those that do, don't survive past ANH.
