The Heiress is directed by Bryce Dallas Howard. Here we are, off to Trask; enjoy! :)

Synopsis: "The Mandalorian braves high seas and meets unexpected allies."

Really felt like a 45 minute episode compressed into 30. It just kept on going and going, taking no time to breathe. The dialogue was iffy too, due to its need to shorten all dialogue exchanges to one or two sentences. Overall, I'd say it was decent. Nothing special.

    Some thoughts of mine:

Glad we finally have an answer to the helmet question: a Mandalorian splinter group, and more information about Mandalore itself. Retaking Mandalore really seems to be getting set up as the endgame for the show here.

That ship does not look safe to travel in. I really hope it is not fixed soon, and this funky ride is kept around for numerous episodes.

Stormtroopers not being able to aim is really getting old at this point.

That Quarren was so obviously a bad guy when he laughed in the inn, Din has clearly been shot in the helmet one too many times.

Will Din become a lone wolf? Will she acquire the saber? Will we see you know who next episode or the one after? (Using my iPhone)

My favourite episode of the season thus far and it moves the story forward in a big way, though I do agree with @GingerByte it probably should've been at least five minutes longer and some dialogue was iffy, but for me the acting kinda made up for that.

I got extremely giddy when Bo appeared, even more when I saw that Katee actually looks like her!

I'm extremely interested find out what Ahsoka is doing; is she helping Luke? Last time we saw her she was off on some crazy adventure with Sabine to find Ezra.

I think Bryce Dallas Howard did an excellent job with this episode overall, and was much better than her previous one IMO.

Overall I did enjoy the episode but like others have said it could have done with being about 5 - 10 Mins Longer just to let it breathe a bit.

Running commentary while watching (Runtime: 35 min including intro and everything)
    --Dramatic opening. Nice landing!
    --Walker construction crane! :D
    --Awww… Lovely reunion <3
--I love to see everyday-fisherfolk in Star Wars :)
--Hm…. Didn’t see that coming. I mean, I did see SOMETHING, coming, but not that. Bad Quarrens.
--Yay, Bo-Katan! …leading the Quarren extermination squad?
    --Ooooh. Gozanti <3
--Well-written; Trask control tower and mando’s descent foreshadows Gozanti high-jack set-up.
--Those Imperial officers are cool. I like me some Imperial culture and chutzpah.
--Great action sequences. I light the weight of ships and general physics of this episode.

I liked the episode; another nice little moment on the way "there". Highlights were Mon Calamarians & Quarrens, Bo-Katan & Co's introduction, and the live-action Gozanti. No big deal in the grand scheme of things, structured much like a random Clone Wars episode, but cool enough. I didn't spot any wonky dialogue?

I didn't find the episode rushed at all! It had a nice beginning, middle, and end, with build-ups & pay-offs, and warm quiet moments intersperced with the action. Of course, we all want every epeisode to be 2 hours long, but for an episode of a TV series, this was very well structured, with every scene serving several purposes. In my book, Favreau is a strong writer -- he knows his strengths and plays to them -- and in the hands of a talent like Howard, his words become powerful performances and character moments.

So, we’re off to Calodan on forest planet of Corvus to see a non-Jedi about a Babyoda… but next chapter isn’t Dave Filoni’s episode… I wonder what hurdle they encounter on the way to Corvus? The next chapter has Carl Weathers directing, so it’ll probably be a Greif Karga-episode, so Navarro?

Bo-Katan , Sabine Wren, who was the third Mando? He looked a little old to be Tristan Wren?

that second Mando wasn't sabine. Sabine's helmet is painted multiple colors. My guess is Sabine is with Ashoka and they are still looking for Ezra.

my favorite episode of the season. we will see more of Bo Katan I think. Can't wait to see Ashoka and Sabine. My guess is perhaps he gets sidetracked in episode 4, or we only see Ahsoka at the end of episode 4. Perhaps her full introduction is in 5, but we see her in episode 4

& then get told off for playing with his food por Guy really is having food problems this season.

I enjoyed this episode (I bet you could have predicted that)!

BO-KATAN! I was so sure she was going to be dead and we'd only see her in flashbacks. I am happy to be wrong!! But I felt like this was a wicked tease since we got so little--just enough to make our mouths water a bit--about what the Mandalorians are doing now, what happened with the Purge and Mandalore itself, how Mando's religious zealot splinter group (called that one at least!) got their start, and how come Din doesn't even know about Bo-freakin-Katan...what!?!? I have to admit, I expected a little more time to be given to Mando being shook by finding these true Mandalorian face-revealers.

Poor Bo...even if she'd asked Mando if he know about the darksaber, he couldn't tell her. Only we (and the Jawas) know Moff Gideon has it! Also, kudos to that Imperial officer. I feel sure Captain Canady would approve. Maybe that guy is a relative. Was that a reference to the suicide capsules the higher-up Imps supposedly had?

Why does Mando just trust that shady Quarren dude? Come on, Mando. I noticed that Mr. Frog had very little actual info about Mandos considering the hassle Mrs. Frog put him through going sublight and all...but at least Din found these Mandos in the end. And now has some more allies.

Best of all, happy Frog family reunion. How did Star Wars make me care so much about frogs, for pete's sake? I was like, "Awww, Mr. Frog! Aww, hugs! Now some smooches! Aww, baby hatches! Ohhh, Frog family, watch out for that kid, he's quick... Awwww, Froggie Junior!" (Is that one the only one that hatched? Yikes.)

OK, yes, the Crest does not look 1000 credits better. (Are those the coins he took for the county in ch. 1?) Mon Calamari, I know, right, Mando? smh. (The Crest looks gorgeous in the concept art though. :D)

P.S. I take it the title refers to Bo-Katan, the heiress of the darksaber?

Heiress to the throne of mandalore most likely. We have not seen the last of this, Most likely Bo will contact Sabine and ashoka and warn them ahead of time he is a member of the watch. By the way, brilliant to choose this mandalorian, from this group, to tell this story through. With the way he was raised, it creates so much conflict. Also allows us to see the watch not as zealots, but as people of faith. Just a great story telling device.

My hopes: Ahsoka can contact force ghost Yoda, that would be neat, perhaps Luke in Hollow from the back, would also be cool. Still believe that Yoda will tell them to follow the training of Tar Visla. Train baby Yoda as a mandalorian first then when he gets older, maybe 75 or so, start training as a Jedi. This allows baby Yoda to be on the new Mandalore when episodes 7-9 happen and he avoids getting killed by Kylo.

I just had a terrible realization...didn't Bo say she was the last of her line (I sense a theme here)? That means... That means RIP, Korkie. T_T
