The Mandalorian Season 2 Wish List

That'd be the goal. We already have our man of few words.

I'd like to see Dash re-done in a way that makes him stand out a bit more.

 

Less Han Solo-ish? The internet will explode but they can always change his race or gender. Or they can make him a droid.

Droid says, "Im 8795 dash RNDR."

Din says "That too long. I'm gonna call you Dash".

Or just make him a cool old guy around 75.

 

The internet can suck an egg.
If LFL cares about the internet more than the story, they're blasted beyond saving.

Seriously. Why should they care what the internet thinks? It's almost always proven to be a very small portion of the viewing audience more interested in stirring up online drama than actually engaging in thoughtful meaningful discussion. There's 0 reason to care about the internet getting mad if they make Dash more of a real character and less of a psuedo Han.

 

I want to see The Mandalorian become the new Mandalore. Like regather the scattered Mandaloring enclaves and take back the planet Mandalore. Rebuild the culture.

 

With introduction of the darksaber into the story, this starts to be a possibility. We all know Din Djarin is not going to take kindly to anyone but a Mandalorian having that thing, much less the guy who wanted his baby, and the guy who likely masterminded the Night of a Thousand Tears and/or the Great Purge and is the reason his people are mostly dead or living in sewers...

And seeing how Din values being Mandalorian above being a bounty hunter, or even above is own life--well, if he got the darksaber, the symbol of Mandalore and Mandalorian leadership, he would probably start making some things happen.

BUT he has this directive to find Babyoda's people, so maybe that could come into conflict with whatever happens with the darksaber.

 

I heard that the Armourer character won't be in season 2. I am highly disappointed by this if true.

Do you have a positive thing to say about anything? The Marvel shows look good from what they've release so far.

 

You seem to be positive all the time. Is there anything you dislike? Long lines? Take out food that's cold by the time you eat it? Me? Ha ha. BTW I'm hyped for TCW season 7.

 

Negative Nancys we'll always have. They are the vocal arm of the physical griefers who delight in destroying players's fun in any and every game. Pull that belt up tighter and ignore.

I hope season 2 will be better. Some episodes in season 1 were boring. I would like to see Ben Solo, Jakku and some new planets like Coruscant. But please, I want to see more futuristic technology because most of the times it appears we are in the middle ages or in a car workshop.

 

I'm ready for a show completely not about any Skywalkers, so I don't mind if we leave them out. Ben Solo is just a preschooler at this point, and if Last Shot is to be believed, he's not doing a lot Force-wise in his baby days--not nearly as much as Babyoda is.

I'm okay without a lot of futuristic tech, just to keep not only with the "Wild West" vibe, but also with the grungy OT-era analog feel. It would be really interesting to see Mando and son coping with the Core worlds though. I'm up for that.

 

I liked Mandalorian, but I’m one of the few who didn’t love it to death. There are a few reasons I feel this way, and I hope Season 2 will smoother over several of my issues with the show (Keep in mind, this is my personal opinion.)
1) Lack of context. Same issue I had with Snoke/Ben Solo in the ST. We have surprisingly little setup around the Mandalorians and why they’re a scattered race. What exactly happened to Mandalore? When the show was first announced, I was hoping the entire show would be on that planet. Unfortunately, we did not get that. Why does the empire want with baby yoda in the first place? In fact, why does the Mando want baby yoda?
2) Fewer “interesting” planets. I love how Unreal Engine was utilized to bring the worlds to life, but in the end, we got more desert/ice/lava planets with evaporators and beaten up junk in the foreground. It would be cool if we could this technology to bring back Coruscant again (one of my favorite scenes in the PT is seeing Jango flying off into the city after shooting the saber dart.)
3) hardly any baby yoda and Mandalorian interaction. The key to the show is the relationship between these two characters, but we have surprisingly little time for the two to do anything together. Apart from Mando talking to baby yoda while driving, he ditches the little guy at every rest stop while doing “bounty hunter stuff.”
4) Mando’s character. Why would he consider leaving baby yoda behind knowing it has a tracking Faab? Why do the Mandalorians take the time to individualize their armor and yet go to the surface one at a time to hide their numbers? Why would he even consider leaving baby yoda in the hands of untrusted people?
5) it takes place so far from civilization, we still haven’t gotten a good look at how the New Republic functions. That one prison-break episode got close and that was my favorite episode of the bunch.

 

Speaking of the theme.... someone commented on YouTube that it sounds like a song that we’re gonna be nostalgic about in 10 years. And I definitely agree.

 

Now this is a strange idea, but a couple of things. I think the dark saber means we most likely will see Sabine at some point in season 2. Also, baby yoda is a foundling, so since there has not been a mandalorian jedi for ages, they could eventually give the dark saber to Baby Yoda.

 

It would be really interesting if Babyoda got the saber as a Mandalorian Jedi or at least a Mandalorian Force user. I wonder if they could fit that into the scope of the show though since he's a baby who can't even talk at this point. How many years it would take before he'd be of age? Would Din--or Sabine, or someone--be sort of a regent until then?

First things first--we gotta get rid of Moff Gideon somehow... I'm guessing that will be the focus of season 2, and they'll sort of put looking for the baby's "people" on the back burner.

Whatever the case, I'm ready.

 

Are the two Scouts confirmed dead?

If no, I'd love to see them again in the Future

 

I'm not sure, but if not, I bet they're out on hospital leave.
