    So we have a coffee thread, how about a thread dedicated to cheese-aholics too!

    here is part of my lunch today, crackers with Yorkshire Wensleydale / cranberries , and apricots. Also a block of Brunost, that @Angelman started me on awhile back....

    Hey @Addi Ras , @NinjaRen and @RockyRoadHux you are all food experts do you have a favorite cheese or two?

    I like a good mature Cheddar the stronger the better.

    Also the I am really not a fan of fruit in cheese it just seems wrong somehow

    Not really as long as it’s strong at least 12 months matured I’m not that fussy oh & I love ve Stilton but I only have that on special occasions.

    I love cheese, especially on a good charcuterie board.

    If I'm not trying to be fancy I like a nice dill havarti or an aged white cheddar.
    If I want to feel fancy I like to bake brie in phyllo dough with jam or marmalade.

    Speaking as someone with an underlining condition, I've kept to one type of cheese in Mozzarella Cheese sticks as my snack feed for delicious cheese. On a rare occasion I'll enjoy regular cheese but I prefer Mozzarella as it tastes delightful as included in my daily routine meals. Cheese can be such a fun thing to enjoy with other things as string cheese you peel it and take bites for the strips as you see.

    Might I also point out this has to be the coolest random thread I've ever seen!!!! "Say Cheese" ;)

    Nice thread!!

    Ok, I'm a cheddar person...SHARP cheddar...the SHARPER the better, and my all-time favorite is Tillamook's Vintage Extra Sharp White Cheddar. Sometimes getting it is problematic as the grocery stores only sporadically carry it, and ordering it direct from the manufacturer is more expensive than the cheese aisle...I hate that. :mad::(
