I got Phasma haha and my mum get's Kylo with Snoke and the guards.

Yep I was wondering that too when it comes around again.

 

The fact that it's included so prominently with the two breakout stars of TFA, one of the most iconic vehicles in SW, and a symbol that's central to both of the major plot lines in TLJ, makes me think that it is likely be significant.

Also, canines have appeared in sci-fi/fantasy/legends/mythology in order to evoke specific ideas, and a white canine, in a story about death-ghosts-spiritual forces-connecting with something in another dimension through ancient means----

Even if the dog creature pops up at the casino, it might not be the only one and if it is.....it could serve a larger story point or symbolic echo or something...basically be more substantial than we can imagine right now because we don't know much and everything we see that's "new" is 90% tiny variations on everything that's been released (Look! Headshots of Rey & Luke on the island! Look! a Porg! Look! Snoke and his guards).

Snoke & The Rathtars were new to me when I saw TFA. This creature could be something significant involved with Rey's training or something to do with spies of Snoke or Jedi beginnings.

We don't know because everything is the same in the marketing.

He got December too, essentially.

I'm also calling it here: Snokes guards will be the Phasma of TLJ.

 

And that is exactly what makes me believe that it is insignificant. Coupled with the fact that they aren't going to leak major plot points or devices in pre-release merchandise.

Or it's just a cool looking creature for the back ground. I'd say that's probably what it is. Speculation is good, but this kind leads to the dark side. Don't want to be disappointed. By all means though, speculate away.
