The Star Wars: The Last Jedi merchandise and products thread

Im kinda glad. I had no restraint when TPM novel came out before the movie and had read half of ROTS before I saw the movie. I learned for me, sporadic spoilers before watching is ok, knowing the whole thing before it came out kinda ruined the experience.

 

I had the TPM novel too, read it weeks before the filmed opened. The book prepared me to understand the film, even more so as the book contained much more detail that was either cut out of the film for timing or pace purposes. I actually enjoyed TPM much more than most other people did, because I had read about what kind of society the pre-Galactic Civil War era galaxy was all about and I knew what to expect. I was not disappointed to suddenly discover there was no Empire, no Emperor, no stormtroopers or no Darth Vader in the new film, unlike all those OT fans who showed up wearing OT costumes and wrongly assumed it would be more of the same.

 

I miss those days as well.
Reading a book before I see a film doesn't bother me as I always have had that one friend that knows how I love movies and they try and see it before me so they can 'tell me about it'.
I have actually avoided certain people for weeks before I see films just so they can't wreck it for me.
So reading a book was always a backup plan when I could say ''yeah , I know'"

Is Hasbro planning on giving us an official list of products to be released next Friday, or are we just supposed to base our wish lists off of the leaks?

Also, I'm planning on picking up Black Series 6" figures of Luke and Rey next Friday (assuming they don't sell out). I've never bought any of the 6" figures before, aside from Rey with BB-8 from The Force Awakens because it was on sale at FYE. Does anyone know what the listing price for the 6" Black Series figures will be at somewhere like Target?

The cop looks kind of goofy in his "sunglasses" but it's a great character design nonetheless. I dig the prequel-looking blaster.

 

Yeah the cop reminds me of the Naboo Royal Guard. I really like the A-wing style flight suit and helmet, on who I assume is Rose.

Interesting that she was marketed as General Leia in the last film, but now she is explicitly being marketed as Princess Leia. Between that and Oscar's quote about her knowing she won't be around forever and wanting to pass the torch onto him in the Entertainment Weekly interview, I wouldn't be surprised to see her step down from her position in The Last Jedi.
