    The LEGO and early Funko Leia figures were labeled Princess Leia not General Leia. Carrie Fisher said the change to General was something she didn't act as because it happened too late. There's a much larger lead time between toy manufacturing and the movie than books and the movie, like how the figures for TFA leaked in December 2014 that were intended for Force Friday September 2015. (The first mention of General Leia IIRC is in the book Moving Target.)

    I agree with ya on all points. I enjoyed TPM myself... It was different from the OT but it was supposed to be. I didn't go in expecting the OT. Jar Jar didn't bother me as much as he did others. I enjoy those extra tidbits you get from the book. But for me, I like them after the movie. Sometimes when I read the books first and get all that info then see the movie and it is lacking all that extra, I sometimes feel a little let down. I remember reading Pet Sematary when I was younger and loved the book. It was probably the first book I read that became a movie. I was really excited when I found out it would be made into a film. I felt a let down after it though, not because the content of the movie sucked but because I had read the book, and got into the thoughts and minds of the characters but didn't get that when I watched it. So after that, I try to read the books after the movie now to get the extra background info. I think a few movies would have been better if they had followed the book more closely.

    I remember that, but it wasn't revealed that she was a general until later, like you said. With this film, we know she's a general already, so I find it weird that they changed her title. Maybe they're just very inconsistent in her title, but it's a bit odd, I think.
